Emack & Bolio's Ice Cream: Midtown

Ice cream didn’t have the advertised ingredients in it and was actually tasteless. Then I realized it tasted like wood due to their wooden spoons. I asked for any other kind of spoon and one employee was going to give me one and then was overruled by another citing the environment. Where do you think wood comes from? All for environmental awareness, but if you’re an ice cream shop don’t do it to the detriment of your product. If that’s your concern, provide metal spoons to patrons.

Great ice cream, but somewhat overpriced. This really deserves a 4 1/2

Delicious ice cream and INCREDIBLE vegan ice cream and flavor choices. Highly recommend the blueberry crumble ice cream and the vegan coffee and the vegan peanut butter and chocolate.

Edwin, Thomas, Kiara and David made a Saturday ice cream order sweeter than the product - which is incredible. Awesome vegan flavors too!

Sought this place out randomly after dinner one day when I wanted ice cream....the hazelnut flavor did NOT disappoint!! It was soo flavorful and didn't taste artificial at all, I wanted to eat it forever..! Expect a line but it moves fast. Also, I saw/heard a coworker say they were going to the bathroom but they had to clock out for it...? Maybe it was taken out of context but management if you see this and that's actually a thing...please don't make your employees clock out just to use the bathroom 🫠

Delicious ice cream flavors and extremely creative / tasty cones (Rice Krispies covered cones, Fruity Pebbles covered cones, etc.)

It's so expensive and not even that great. 6.50 for one small scoop of ice cream and you have to pay for the cone. $1.75 for a plain cone. The cone was empty after the tiny scoop of ice cream is gone. It didn't even taste that good. I think n
New Yorkers are just so st upid that they'll pay lots of money in there because it feels "cool".

Stopped by Emack & Bolio's on 2nd Ave for a sweet treat after dinner. The flavors here strike a great balance, both unique and familiar. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. We tried the Toasted S’moreos, which had a delightful mix of marshmallow ice cream, chocolate, and Oreo pieces, and Space Cake, which featured tasty red velvet chunks. It was the perfect way to end our night!

The staff was absolutely amazing. Tipping them simply wasnt enough, I have to write a review!! They were so kind, welcoming, & happy spirited. They made us feel welcome and though it was our first time, their recommendations and the music they played made the atmosphere like no other. Absolutely loved it here & will return.

i love this ice cream!!!! the texture is amazing and they have great flavors. it reaaaally felt super fresh like it was so good. i did not try any of the cones but they have a lot of options and i will absolutely try them all eventually

wildly overpriced as all gourmet ice cream places are ($8.80 for 1 scoop in a waffle cone), but their s'moreo ice cream was one of the best ice cream cones I've ever had. so good I wrote a review!
