Very unfortunate dining experience. I came here with my friends excited for dinner. Once we entered the building we quickly noticed it was hotter inside than it was outside during this heat wave. We sat down regardless, only to realize the further inside you went the hotter it got. They had cheap fans around the dining room but they were just blowing around hot air… the service was very good and I have no complaints but you could see visible heat exhaustion from every single employee. We did not order food and just spent the time at the table figuring out where we wanted to eat instead. I have worked in restaurants before and it’s very obvious that for a restaurant as popular as Emily to not have working air conditioning is just them being greedy.

Possibly the best restaurant experience I've had in NYC. Our server, Andres, was phenomenal, attentive, and friendly. We got to speak to Beatrice and the bartender, Devone, as well. Professional and fun and made the experience even better. The drinks were AMAZING. The pizza was SO GREAT. The dedication to allergy friendly options was incredible. I can't wait to eat there again and try more of the menu!

We visited NY two years ago from Sydney and loved our experience at Emily. Unfortunately this occasion didn’t match our expectations. While our waiter Simon and the cocktails were excellent, the burger and pizza (which was a highlight last time) were very average and quite dry. Disappointed as we were really looking forward to this one.

Walked in at 8:30 pm on Thursday and got seated for two immediately (even though it was busy)! We were taken care of by Mel, our lovely waiter. They gave us great menu suggestions and THEY DELIVERED! The food was delicious. We ordered the chili pineapple wings and the burger and two tasty cocktails. Mel even surprised us with a blueberry pie A LA MODE! The most wonderful evening for a last minute date night with my partner <3

A truly lovely spot with delicious food and wonderfully friendly service! We tried the signature burger and the Chicago style pizza — both were outstanding. The burger was incredibly juicy and flavourful, and the Chicago style pizza was an absolute delight. The staff were warm and attentive throughout. Highly recommend!

The Emmy Burger is the best burger my husband and I have ever had! The atmosphere is great, sort of moody and dark. Our waiter was a bit rude, but overall we had a great dinner
