Emmett’s on Grove Street is a Soho gem! The service is excellent, friendly, fast, and welcoming. The food is solid: the Papi Pizza is incredibly tasty, and the Char Cheddar Burger is a knockout with its sharp cheddar spread, and mix of caramelized onions, peppers, relish, tomato, working perfectly together. Such a fun experience, highly recommended!

Had dinner here recently. The pizza was good, the apps were decent. The service was terrible. They strictly stick to the 90 minute limit from the moment you sit down. We were actively eating and drinking and were told we needed to leave exactly at the 90 minute mark. This isn’t the kind of place to go if you plan to chat with friends or have more than one drink. Expensive meal if most of it is getting tossed in the trash, we hadn’t even eaten half the pizza when it was taken away.

The happy hour here is great! We went for happy hour and got a salad along with some drinks. Both were great. The atmosphere is really nice as well but it does get crowded very quickly. We went right at open and within 45 minutes the entire bar area (only place where you can get happy hour) was completely filled up.

Hands down, the best pizza and burgers in town! The service was amazing, and the food was out of this world. If you visit New York, make sure to have lunch or dinner here. This is the best pizza I’ve ever had!

Came in here with my family on a Sunday night. We were a party of 8 with an 8:30 reservation. We were told on the phone by the person that made the reservation that we’d have the biggest table since we had such a large party. This did not end up being the case and they squeezed our part of 8 into a both made for 5. My party arrived in a few minutes before 8:30 and had a few drinks by the bar while we waited. Drinks were made well and even on the stronger side but the bartenders had no personality and did not say one word including thank you when paying and leaving a generous tip.
That I can live with, sometimes people are just having a bad day. What I cannot live with was the fact they have a minimum spend of $70 per person. Something that was only told to us when the bill arrived. The waitress said “I’ll let it go the one time”. For a place that prides itself on being a laid back pizza joint thats unacceptable , even by West Village standards.

want to preface by saying i don’t like thin crust pizza so i wasn’t impressed with the pizza. the chicken parmesan on the other hand was amazing! got it on the slider which i thought was odd because breaded chicken on bread but the slider was really good and absorbed the sauce nicely. would definitely go back for the dishes but not the pizza.

Had a wonderful meal with our son and his girlfriend. This is one of thier favorite places to enjoy.
The Proscuitto was incredible. The crust on the pizza was absolutely perfect. The Chicken Parm was amazing. The thick noodles for the fresh pasta was incredible.
The only knock on the place was that it was a Saturday night and it was incredibly loud and difficult to carry on a conversation.

Great experience overall. Very loud, so not a place for an intimate dinner for 2. We were there with a group of 7 so it was fine.

Racist staff at Emmett’s stole my personal property and lied to my face. Management refuses to compensate or reimburse me for having stolen my belongings. This demonstration of unprofessionalism….
