Hard to say whether this was a one time issue, but we placed a delivery order of the larger size pizza and the dough was much thinner than usual (hard to even call it Detroit style) and had a rubbery texture. Hoping this is a one time issue, but if it persists I will no longer be ordering from here.

I am not typically one to leave a review, but I have to say this place went so far beyond my expectations that I just had to talk about it. I decided to go to Emmy Squared for my birthday. We had a party of seven and when we got to the restaurant, it was so busy and for good reason. This is an extremely popular restaurant. We had to wait a couple of minutes for them to get our table ready and the manager, Kairsten, came over to apologize for this minor inconvenience and brought out two caesar salads for the table. We all got drinks and we ordered four pizzas which was enough to feed all seven of us. The pizzas were absolutely wonderful and the espresso martinis were delicious. We got the big ang, margarita, vodka, and truffle pizzas. My personal favorite was the truffle, but everyone at the table had so much trouble deciding which to choose. The restaurant also put my birthday cake in the fridge and when they brought it out, they offered to cut it for us. They ended up also bringing me a very delicious skillet. Apple dessert with ice cream. The entire staff saying happy birthday to me. I can’t thank everyone at Emme Squared enough for making my birthday so special.

Great pizza and kid friendly. I could eat their pizza all day long. The Ceasar salad is great and can be shared. Best to sit outside with children.

Waited 2hrs for a takeaway. Ridiculous! Called 2 times to only he told it will be another few mins.

Once it arrived it was cold and the appetizer was missing a sauce. Awful awful awful.

Ordered from them tonight around 6:30 from UberEats. After about an hour, my delivery person was told 5 more minutes. An hour later, my order was fully cancelled. I understand it gets busy but to have me wait two hours only to cancel the order is simply unacceptable

Good food, a bit pricey but they cannot handle busy nights and if you order takeout there is a decent chance it will take over an hour but they will never communicate that because they are overwhelmed. They also might give you order to someone else without checking! Total mess, only order on non-peak hours but I will never be returning.

If you want to experience a one-hour wait, insufferable din and 0 food, then you MUST try this place. Hands down worst dining experience of my life and I come from a third world country.

Terrible Experience - Unsafe for Celiacs!

We recently visited this location of Emmy Squared and I’m appalled by the way they handled our order. I specifically ordered a gluten-free pizza for my partner, who has celiac disease. Despite clearly communicating this, and charging us accordingly, they served us a regular pizza loaded with gluten. This led to a serious medical issue!

Not only was our order dangerous, but the service was abysmal from start to finish. It took over 45 minutes to receive our food, and when we politely asked the hostess about the delay, she responded with an eye roll and an attitude that suggested she couldn’t care less.

If you have dietary restrictions, do not trust this place! I’m beyond disappointed - I’ve been to other locations and enjoyed the food previously but the lack of care for customer safety and the overall rudeness make it an absolute no-go.

Impressed with how they elevated the classic salad and pizza offering, at an affordable price—especially on the upper east side. The Detroit-inspired deep dish was the right amount of crispy and chewy. The Caesar salad was unbelievable with an added crunch and a unique, just-sweet-enough dressing that set it apart.

Ordered our pizza at 12:16 on a Saturday. Received it at 1:31pm. My children were SCREAMING their heads off. $55. Not worth it. Whatsoever.

Pizzas are good but tonight they cancelled my order 45 min after it was placed because they were busy. Don’t take the order in the first place if you are busy. Won’t be doing business with Emmy’s in the future. If you do order just know there is a non-zero chance they will cancel on you.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to eat here but I was in the neighborhood and decided to take a look. The place was packed busy but I was greeted with a smile at the door and seated quickly without a reservation. Juri at the bar told us how she wasn't gluten free and recommended the gluten free crust, its thinner crust makes the pizza crispier. We got the award winning Le Matt burger and the MVP pizza on a gluten free crust!!!! THE BOMB.
I really enjoyed myself at this establishment. The service is great, the burgers, pizzas, the drinks!!!! My little coconut and emotional damage!! The music can be a little louder and more in tune but overall loved it!! We will be back! Thank you Juri!!!!!

The restaurant provided an excellent dining experience! Our waitress was exceptional, consistently checking in on us while managing her other tables with ease. The manager, Kairsten ensured we were enjoying ourselves and made great food and drink recommendations that were spot on.

The front staff was quick and attentive, getting us seated without delay. As for the food, the pizza and salad were both delicious, and I highly recommend trying them. The cocktails were a highlight as well; I enjoyed the whiskey-based options while my party loved the gin cocktails. Only issue we encountered was the cleanliness of the bathrooms, still doesn’t take away from the amazing experience. Overall, my group had a fantastic time, and I can't wait to return!
