The food is great for the price I paid. The ambiance is neat. The place is very neat and tidy. Cleanest Chinese food place I’ve ever been. The lady who always work at the register is very polite and nice. The Chef is very nice as well - sometimes my husband and I just shared food and I asked for an extra fork. During our next visit, when he saw us and I just ordered one meal, he already put an extra fork. For our month of stay in NYC I think we’ve come here almost everyday....
I have visited various Emperor Dumpling locations in Manhattan, but I found that the Mongolian beef at this particular location has a different flavor that I did not enjoy. As a result, I was unable to finish my meal. I hope that the owner will consider my feedback and adjust the menu to align more closely with the flavors offered at the other locations.
The food was good and I thought the staff were attentive and calm but I will have to take off 2 stars bc I saw a rodent run down to the kitchen and that scarred me. So until they get their health grade be careful and just get a to go order.
