This Manhattan diner was neat and clean, and the food was definitely good. The staff was friendly, but one downside was that they charged for refills on small cups, which felt a bit pricey. Overall, a solid spot for a tasty meal if you’re in the area, just be aware of the extra charges, they will try to be sneaky.

Very overrated. Service was poor. Ambiance is ok. Food is basic. Had the grilled beats, gazpacho soup with crab, and ahi poke. First 2 were flavorless small portions. The 3rd was fresh and tasty. Would not recommend this place.

Long on my list of diners, we finally were in the neighborhood for the U-Haul Art Exhibit and stopped in for dinner. It was delicious. We were warmly welcomed, seated quickly. Our waiter was attentive and the orders taken and delivered quickly. Absolutely delicious food. The desert, the Empire Sunday, was exceptionally decadent!

Got E-Coli after eating at Empire Diner. Spent a day in the ER. Staff extremely rude when I notified them. Refused to investigate any way throughly. Reported them to the City.

Very pleased with the service and the food!!! My husband and I absolutely loved the breakfast. The Rye pancakes and the waffle are 10/10!! The staff were so fun and friendly and the food came out quick. The Rose Margarita was insane. The drink was beautiful and really good. I had to go back and get another one because it was delicious. My husband and I will definitely be back when we visit NY again.

The best gem in Chelsea! A diner with the most sophisticated touches to all dishes. Pigs in a blanket are incredible, as are their brunch dishes. Scrambled eggs and cacio e pepe was a standout. They were also so helpful and perfect on a very special day.
