3 in the afternoon and joes pizza is still wrapping around the block. I'm sure it's great. It's famous. But I can't stand in line that long so we left and on the way down the street we happened upon this place, encore. Not busy and the prices advertised were really good and they had good reviews so we decided to go in and I'm so glad we did. First off, the staff were very friendly. We were able to order their 2 slices and a drink combo easily and they even brought our food to our table for us. The dining room was clean and had plenty of tables which was very welcomed as we were sore and tired from walking the city ALL day. The pizza was very good! Classic NY style. Good crust. Good sauce. They have garlic powder and crushed red pepper at the front which is a must for me. Overall very nice meal, nice price, nice staff, nice establishment. I would 1000% come back here.
