This restaurant is a culinary Basque gem. The food is fantastic and the service and atmosphere are equally great. Don't sleep on the pork, ham and cheese croquettes, octopus or sausage. Perfect for a date.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Ernesto's. I would caution that if you are not familiar with Basque food or you are not a teeny bit adventurous you should be prepared to step out of your comfort zone, and you will be glad you did. We loved literally everything that we had. The decor is neat and sparse, but still chic. The food is elegant but still feels homey, peasant style favorites, but elevated. It was a very nice restaurant, food was wonderful, it is out second time there and we tried different food each time. As far as I understand you can't eat something bad there. Loved it
