Essa is my new go to when it comes to sending a taste of New York as a thank you. All 3 of my orders arrived quickly, were fresh as can be and got rave reviews from Oklahoma, California and Kansas. The flavored cream cheese in particular was mentioned as amazing. Thank you Essa Bagel and thanks also to Goldbelly for spreading good food and good cheer!
I saw a lot of reviews of this place and I know NY is full of bagels but I loved this place. The service the kindness of the people the explanation, I ate the one that was recommended to me the typical salmon delicious with I think the onion gives it a very good touch and other to pastrami of drinks take soda but there are many things I leave photos go and enjoy a bagel lioso in New York amazing :)

I went to Essabagel for a bagel. I understand that there is a long line and you have to be a patient. I get up to the counter and I ordered nothing crazy just a bacon egg and cheese. I proceeded to wait for 10 minutes until I asked someone if my bagel is coming soon the guy says that I didn’t order with him and he doesn’t know who I ordered with so I wait 10 more minutes just for them to continue asking me who I ordered with. I had not moved spots so I ordered with whoever was in front of me and continued to tell them that. I decided just to walk out because I waited 20 minutes for a bagel to be forgotten and them acting like I ordered with a ghost.

Overpriced
The bagel itself is a bit too hard for my liking

How do you cut a bagel BEFORE putting everything on it. My onions couldn’t separate without needing to cut it myself. Terrible.
I believe I can make it even more delicious at home

Bagels are great. We loved it ??? Go before it gets too crowded ?
The system is not very good. The person taking the order does not write it down and forgets it, but we liked it very much ????

There are a lot of options to choose from but don’t get overwhelmed, servers are happy to help you and suggest the best items. In my case, I wanted something with fresh salmon so they suggested the most popular item which is the Signature Favorite. I have no words to describe how good it was. We also tried Chicken Parmigiana and it was also delicious!!

One of the best bagels we tried. Big and they put a lot of filling. Thousand types. There is a queue at peak times, but it is worth it.
