Slightly under the radar, as they haven't made the top lists yet, is the local Experimental Cocktail Club in NYC's Flatiron district. Ever since I discovered the brilliant bartender Nathalie Derrieu in 2020 when she was working at Katana Kitten, I knew she was just getting started. Had high hopes for this place and I do think it has potential.
The drink menu has some interesting choices but in the end I wasn't really drawn to more than one option so not sure how overall interesting the options are. The drinks we got were tasty and on par with what I expected. But they're too expensive. I know the argument can be made that they're similar to other such places but that still means they're expensive.
