Fig & Olive offers an ideal setting for gatherings, boasting a variety of shared plates for starters, delightful cocktails, and delectable bread with olive oil. During our visit with eight colleagues, the ambiance felt akin to a family dinner. The service was welcoming, offering helpful recommendations without pressuring us to order more than necessary. My personal highlight was the mezze plate featuring babaganoush and yogurt with spicy honey.

This is physically a very attractive place. It's an elegant dining room and the food and service are also good. Trouble is the awful music got progressively louder and louder and our party was unable to hear to each other speak. We asked if it could be lowered, nothing. The crowd was not especially young, more 35/45. How can anyone meet for dinner with friends and have a conversation here? More and more this is the experience dining downtown.

Stopped by for happy hour. Love the cucumber cosmopolitan and the salmon tartare as a light bite. Good music and atmosphere.

at 9.25 we got to the door and it was locked. the manager looked at us but he continued to leave us out. after seeing that we had been waiting for 10 minutes, it is to say that they would have accepted the last table at 9.00 pm and that they no longer work with open tables so our reservation regularly made at 9.30 pm was not valid. they sent us away, even though the restaurant was full of people eating. bad bad bad. to report. I will never try to go again. on top of that the manager was very very rude.

Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and it was perfect! The staff was extremely warm, friendly, and professional. Decor of the restaurant is gorgeous! Food was delicious and the service was top notch. Staff was very attentive and paid attention to every table. Highly recommend and this spot is on our NYC favorites list!

Lunch prix fix with a $6 dessert supplement calls my name. I'm on a prix fixe lunch obsession & at $30 is a bargain. Ate: Hot focaccia Arugula salad Salmon burger $6 dessert supplement Hot housemade focaccia. Super lemony arugula salad. I ready enjoyed my meal here.

FIG & OLIVE is a beautiful restaurant located in the meatpacking area of New York City just one block from the High Line. The host staff was quick to greet and seat us and our server, Christian, who has served us several times, came over right away to introduce himself and take our drink orders. They have a delicious cocktail menu. We have tried the Cucumber Cosmo, Lavender Fields, the F&O Espresso Martini, but my favorite is the Fig and Olive. Really, you cannot go wrong with any of their cocktails. We decided on the Prix Fixe menu for this visit but ordered the Riviera Crostini as an add on, as we have had it several times. There are three flavors, but I would highly recommend just getting three of the caramelized onion crostini, especially if you love caramelized onions. They are delicious. The beef carpaccio, which is not on the regular menu was one of the best I have ever had. There parmesan cheese shavings sprinkled all over the dish but there was also something added that gave each bite a slight crunch (dried shallot maybe?) that pushed the dish over the top. Our two main dishes were Mafaldine which is described as: Mushroom Ragout, Black Truffle, Mascarpone, Grana Padano, Rustic Breadcrumbs and Spicy Lobster Spaghetti. They were both amazing, but the Mafaldine was the clear winner. It was rich in truffle flavor. Based on this visit and many other visits we have made to this restaurant I will be awarding 5 stars on my reviews.

It was such a relief to go to a place in the meat packing district that didn't have an attitude. Large , airy , great service from the min I walked in. The starters were delicious as well as the seafood risotto. Very welcoming atmosphere

Enjoyed my visit for birthday dinner with my friends. It was very quiet as off course it was Super-bowl Sunday . Food was delicious and service was great. I will definitely re-vist.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, but most all have cheese included. I would have loved to see more vegan options.

The menu was one of those where you can't find anything you like. Clearly not what it once was and a bit overdesigned. For example, I had the tuna meatball appetizer which was just weird. Tuna meatballs with tomato sauce but then sitting on a thin layer of lemon yogurt! Go Italian of go mid-eastern, but not both. And the noise level was too much. I had to shout throughout my dinner. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but no more.
