This is physically a very attractive place. It's an elegant dining room and the food and service are also good. Trouble is the awful music got progressively louder and louder and our party was unable to hear to each other speak. We asked if it could be lowered, nothing. The crowd was not especially young, more 35/45. How can anyone meet for dinner with friends and have a conversation here? More and more this is the experience dining downtown.
Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and it was perfect! The staff was extremely warm, friendly, and professional. Decor of the restaurant is gorgeous! Food was delicious and the service was top notch. Staff was very attentive and paid attention to every table. Highly recommend and this spot is on our NYC favorites list!

During our visit with eight colleagues, the ambiance felt akin to a family dinner. The service was welcoming, offering helpful recommendations without pressuring us to order more than necessary. My personal highlight was the mezze plate featuring babaganoush and yogurt with spicy honey.
