About The Standard Biergarten

The Standard Biergarten offers an open area with a good selection of beers and traditional German food. The ticket system can be a bit disorganized, but once inside, guests can enjoy themselves with table tennis and foosball. The staff may not be the most attentive, but the atmosphere is worth a visit, especially for beer lovers. The food, including a variety of sausages, potato salad, and pretzels, is generally delicious, though the chicken sausage may lack seasoning.

The German-style food offerings are both pleasing to the eye and to the taste, and the atmosphere is lively and festive. The venue is well-equipped to handle large crowds, and the service is surprisingly efficient, though there have been reports of some staff members being more interested in socializing than serving customers. Overall, the Standard Biergarten is a fantastic spot for a casual outing with friends or family, especially during the summer months, with its covered seating and heaters available.

Good place to watch Worldcup especially German game. Tie with Bierhaus in midtown in my mind.
Although open air better as below High Line with giant fans above. Breezy much of time.

Food less complicated. No shanks here. Just sausage and pretzel. Conversion with tickets. 1 for beer, 4 for platter. Good draft choices.

Bathroom inside basement. Funky iron chain divider... make sure males on right side for Marcel Duchamp moment

Great beer selection and sausages too. Very similar in many respects to the beer gardens in Germany and Austria. We thoroughly enjoyed this fun stop after strolling the Highline on a Sunday afternoon.
It was very loud though so if you want to have meaningful conversation time be sure to do it while walking the Highline not when you get to the garden!

This is an awesome place to come and experience new beers yeah, chill or meet cool people!
Wasn't able to try any of the food or drink because I was driving but I'm definitely looking forward to coming back here
