This is my number one choice for catering business lunches and dinners. They have a wide variety of selection whether it be wraps or sandwiches. Their pastries are d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s. Their catering manager, Kathleen Gallo, and Chef Richard provide Number One service. They're always available and happy to attend to our "all of a sudden" requests no matter the size. This is an exquisite choice. Thank you for the almost 20 years in the Financial District. Kudos!
There's something about the cakes here that just has me hooked. The one with fruitiness, like raspberry/passionfruit/blueberry, are just so delicious. I like that they're lighter than most of the cakes you can get elsewhere, which are sometimes just overly rich and creamy. Financier just makes cakes with really balanced flavor profiles, that you take one bite of and can just keep on eating. A little pricey but worth every bit of the price for special occasions. We just had a small tarte there, but that was really good, super friendly and fast service. When you are at the battery park or near the fearless girl, i would suggest to visit this patisserie as well.
