Located on the second floor of the Brookfield Mall is FOR FIVE. If you have only a few calories to give, give it here.... and then come back again, to try another cookie and then again and again until you tried them all and then come back again for their new cookies. It is located across from the World Trade Center and aside the Hudson River. It is a tourist draw. Fun fact, FINRA is located inside the Brookfield Mall, a good tourist draw or not depending if you are a fan of Wall Street. Kiddos love the chunky cookies worth every calorie and bite...............photos are copyright Carrie Devorah and may not be used without permission

Hilarious prices for the product. Not even the fancy places charge like they do.

Paid nearly $17 for a small iced drink and a muffin. Very overpriced. When I asked for simple syrup, I was told it’s normally an additional charge. An additional charge for sugared water when most coffee shops make it available for customers to use at their discretion. Smh. While my drink wasn’t terrible, the muffin was not very tasty. Not recommended. Take the extra steps over to Bluestone Lane or Blue Bottle.

Do everyone a favor and just remove matcha off the menu. Why is half of my drink milk?? I asked for a matcha latte not a milk latte. Horrendous matcha, the reviews ab the other drinks are prolly true as well.

Usually I go here for coffee in the morning and it has always been good experience. This Tuesday 8/12 around 11:30-12:30 noon I came here for coffee. The staff was extremely rude:
1. When we placed order, he slashed tablet. Even without us finishing order (just one coffee ordered, another wasn’t). I reminded him we would order two coffee, he gave us a white eye. The whole process I have been using words like “please” “can we”. The staff didn’t say a single word, zero communication with an attitude on his EarPods.
2. When coffee was ready, the staff slashed coffee on the table and literally just threw there. Another set of white eyes like we own him something.
3. Later on I realized the staff charged us $17 for two iced Americano? Something is wrong. But just a couple bucks I don’t want to argue back.

Conclusion: there’s something seriously wrong with this staff. It’s unfortunate he doesn’t want this job. Get someone to replace him.

Their Well-Balanced Matcha Latte (with honey + regular milk) = harmony—creamy, subtly sweet, and energizing without the jitters.

Pro tip: The slow-release caffeine boost lasted me all morning.

The espresso is smooth, complex, and completely acid-free. Roasted in Queens it’s a testament to precision.

Location & Vibe:

✅ Inside Brookfield Place (next to Equinox – easy to spot!)
✅ Prime people-watching perch for Manhattan’s morning hustle
✅ Watch office crowds blend with wellness-focused regulars post-Equinox workout
✅ Bright, modern aesthetic with Alo-clad patrons adding to the trendy vibe

🔥 Zero wait during rush hour thanks to efficient baristas
🔥 Clear passion for quality ingredients and local partnerships
🔥 Surprisingly peaceful despite the mall location

Perfect For:

✔ Pre-work fuel before Wall Street meetings
✔ Mid-shopping pick-me-ups
✔ Casual coffee dates with skyline views

This caffeinated oasis is the antidote to chain coffee fatigue—a must-visit for those who appreciate quality and a mindful approach to sourcing.

Cool to read about the Queens entrepreneurs thriving. If you read this leave them a nice review I’m not sure why they are only at 3.2 stars.

The only thing I’d recommend is getting a couple of cute Greek Barista girls perhaps. The product is good, and the service is fast.

Shout out to Maspeth ❤️❤️❤️ love the story.

Service is awful as mentioned a number of times in this review already. It feels like you are disturbing the workers day by having the audacity to order a coffee. The servers don’t even have the decency to utter a please or thank you.

The prices are disgraceful. $8.63 for an oat cappuccino before tip? Ridiculous.

The sad thing is that the coffee is good. Let down by the poor service and rip off pricing which already includes a 4% operational charge.

Shame really but save your money and give your custom to one of the other coffee shops within a few min walk that might actually appreciate it

it was 8.41 for a small cold brew. and it included an mandatory service fee. the prices that they list are misleading. how do you charge a service fee for pouring bean water that takes five seconds. especially when the baristas don't even say hello. even the best coffee shops around this place (blue bottle; joe coffee; daily provisions; la colombe) that are ranked top coffee shops in nyc aren't that expensive.

will never return.

Pastries are great! The muffins, especially the chocolate chip muffins are my favorite. Randy is very helpful and makes the best hot chocolate.

Pretty bummed. My small iced matcha latte looks like milk. I saw the barista put one tiny teaspoon of matcha in and was concerned. Is that the standard recipe - because mine looked and tasted like milk? This is after I waited in the freezing cold shop and the barista would not even say a word to me. No 'hello', 'what can get I you', or 'you're welcome'. Not a word. $7.00 for this? Nope.
