Food was uneven. Edamame was soggy and limp, but veggie dumplings were great. Nigiri sushi was very good, but udon chicken noodles were oversauced. Molten chocolate dessert was excellent. So the place has potential to be very good. 2 big ‘setting' negatives: (1) the place simply doesn't smell good; not just not good, but borderline bad when you walk through the door; you get used to it and I'm not sure what it is, but there's an unpleasant odor, and (2) there...

This visit was not enjoyable as there was a teen birthday party in the main dining room so everyone else was seated in the bar area. This was not well thought out as the staff seemed harried and disorganized (although our servers were wonderful). Food was also rushed, most likely with the kitchen overcompensating with trying to keep up. Fushimi has become noisier in general. Not sure if that is by design but, with so many options in the area, we may veer towards different restaurants...

This was a pre-theater dinner and it was perfect. We arrived earlier than our reservation and they were able to seat us right away. We ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura and the Sex on the Beach special sushi roll as appetizers ... YUMMY! Our entrees were the Rib Eye Teriyaki and Chilean Sea Bass ... DELICIOUS! Our bellies were full but we could not resist the Mango Coconut Cheesecake as a finisher to our meal. Drinks were fabulous so needless to say, we would come back again! Made...
