I ordered 10 ounces because I was worried that the amount of meat wouldn't be enough for the lunch course, but I asked for more. In the end, I couldn't eat all the cake. They gave me plenty of bread and soup, meat, potatoes and spinach? If you eat this kind of food, you may not need to add meat. Have a good meal!!! There are a lot of people and the staff are busy, but they take good care of you whenever you can.

We were excited to try this NYC staple, and it did not disappoint. Wait staff and service was excellent, very friendly and went out of their way. Steak was a little overdone but overall good, only reason I gave 4 stars. Perfect location for meal before or after a show on Broadway.
The food was tasty. Unfortunately the Belgian Stella was tapped without a foam head. I spoke to the waiter about it and afterwards we only had to pay for one of the two

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The cured steak was delicious, with rich flavors and perfect texture. The service was excellent – attentive and friendly.

We got there and my grandfather got ketchup spilled all over his shirt. It then took 40 minutes for them to get our order and when the food came out the sides were wrong and half of our steaks were very rare/borderline raw when we ordered medium and medium rare. This place just does not accommodate big parties well and they make the servers bus tables which I think is outrageous instead of hiring bussers. They told us we would get free deserts for our troubles however after checking the receipt we realized they charged us for them and wouldn't even comp one of the not done steaks. Will never be returning. Thank you to our server Kevin for trying to make us have a great night, he was the best part.
We love Gallagher's. Our request for seats at the bar was honored, and Stu, our barkeep, was a friendly, accommodating, and a genuine good spirit. He also pours a mean Manhattan, served in the sexiest throw-back coupe stemware! The steaks are always superb (I am a sucker for the creamed spinach, but we also had the grilled onions tonight and they did not disappoint.) It was Monday and the place was packed ! Ambiance, vibe, music, staff— from greeters to ladies room attendant- all made for the unique and glorious experience that is Gallagher's! We'll be back.
Very popular steakhouse, reservations a must.
The only charcoal fired steakhouse left in NYC!
We love our steaks and have tried some of the best around the globe, this is definitely tops for me!
We enjoyed the ambiance, service and quality of the food from appetizers, mains, sides and dessert, it was all delicious. Value for the quality of food is fantastic, the wine list is great, and kids cocktails are well priced at $4! Thanks for the great meal, we will definitely be back!

If you expect porterhouse, you will, but you will never get this meat in Korea at this price.

This is a very famous steakhouse. Just look at how much beef is displayed in their fridge, and you'll know how fresh their meat is every day. It's consistently delicious! You can also see how beautiful the meat looks; when cut open, it’s a vibrant red. Highly recommended!

Everything we had was suggested by our waiter Adam ! All dishes were a 10/10 ! We were obsessed with everything , French onion soup, lobster and shrimp dumplings , crab cakes, porter house, rib eye, Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese , and onion rings! All magnificent. Adam was also the best. Will be back
Excellent service. Food was good. Wasn't really sure what to expect but overall it was a nice dinner. They did bring out a birthday cupcake for our daughter. The server was very thoughtful.
Good steaks and a great mac and cheese. Service was a little confusing at times, but the waiters were lovely, so this is not a complaint, just an observation. It is very noisy inside, so some might not like it. I really enjoyed it.

We had the three course lunch menu, $50 per head, including a $18 per head supplement for a 10oz filet mignon. Great value, fantastic quality in a wonderfully traditional NYC establishment.
