If you cant eat gluten, dont eat here! I got sick despite asking them if things were gluten free. Also it was crazy crowded (like very little room between tables) and noisy. The servers were all very nice.

Food was excellent. But the service was basically non existent. We had to flag down the waiter for everything. I believe there was only one waiter for the restaurant. While the food is excellent it is very pricey.

Seated and served quickly and the food was terrific. Table attentiveness needs improvement as not once did anyone come back to our table to ask how everything is or was, and we never even received a thank you for our business from the person that gave us the check and charged my credit card at the table. It wasn't until we were exiting the restaurant did someone thank us.

Awesome

We went for Sunday brunch. The food was salty and tasted bitter and sour. I told the server the food, Lentil soup, moudamous, karnabeet, was salty. She apologized and made a comment about the cook maybe being in love. The server, Olga, seemed nice. Our bill was $95 and I tipped $23. Later when I added the bill, I discovered a $9 overcharge. Huge disappointment. Not the quality I am use to from Opentable restaurants. Skip this place.

The food was delicious. The hummus was some of the best I've ever had. The service was also great. All of the staff were very nice and they were very accommodating when our party went down to 4 people after making a reservation for 6.

Always fantastic. Best food, best service. Gazala is so kind, always smiling, always there to make sure everything is running smoothly and customers are happy. And the food is Devine. Better than anywhere in the world. See you next weekend for the best brunch in town!

I had my first experience with friends at Gazala's a couple of months ago and could not wait to bring my family back. The service was great and the food was outstanding both times! My family loved the food and my daughter cannot wait to come back. We also love supporting our Israeli owned businesses. ❤️

I used to come in often when they first opened on Amsterdam. I went today and will never come back. Please hire staff that is familiar with how the service industry works. Servers that can prioritize, great customers appropriately, and work with a sense of urgency. Also,it's important for your staff to enjoy working there. If they are not treated correctly it's very obvious to the clientele.

It's good for the area and no frills decor. The food is reasonable price and not too much with shrink-flation. But not spectacular and "need not really" to come back with mom dad and date.

Our first time at Gazala's and we were wonderfully surprised. Excellent food and unique choices. Well worth a try and come hungry.

My wife and I loved the well seasoned, artfully prepared, tasty meal. Kebab main dish, eggplant appetizer and Falafel balls different than what I've had at various middle east restaurants. Gracious, attentive service. Gets busy on weekends, recommend reservations. One of a kind NYC experience.

Wonderful, fresh, amazingly tasty and great service. It's hard to get this kind of food this good-they do a great job of using simple clean ingredients to great effect. So, so Good

A great restaurant. The food is amazing and the service is friendly. When we were there, there was a bit of a crowd waiting to get in, which is a testament to the quality of the restaurant. Once we got in, the service was very quick and friendly and the food was amazing. It was definitely worth the wait to get in.
