Gina is great for quick pizza and pasta takeout. Typically we order from them once a week. Everything is seasoned nicely. The pizzas are wonderful - our kids enjoy them but they also have varieties for more sophisticated pallets as well. Have been to the restaurant once as well. Small but nice, clean atmosphere. Again, good place to take kids.
We dropped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I had pasta putanesca which was excellent and my wife has a pizza with prosciutto and figs and it was very good. Great little local place.
After a long, fun-filled day museum hopping we wanted to find a restaurant within walking distance to the last museum we visited, Cooper Hewitt Museum. We hopped on yelp and found Gina La Fornarina. It was quite literally around the corner from the museum. They were able to immediately seat our large group of eight outside. Service was prompt and friendly.
