Service was spectacular on Friday night! Food could definitely use improvement. Smash burger was just meh... Happy hour drink specials were nice, and ambiance is lovely!
We had an amazing experience!! Food and service were top notch. We were there for brunch celebrating our 17th anniversary and they surprised us with sparklers and all!
I showed up for a reservation and was told there was a private event. Manager refused to come and talk to me.
Second time I attempted to come here with a reservation and it was closed for a private event & I only found out once I arrived and found a paper on the door saying it was a private event.
The restaurant was apparentlly closed for a special event BUT still accepted reservations (from us and many others). We showed up and were turned away at the door. Absolutely unacceptable.
My friends and I went to The Glass Ceiling Rooftop for brunch on a Sunday. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and welcoming. We ordered the purse drink but they were out of one of the ingredients used to make it - the waiter took the time to walk us through the other options and ensure we were satisfied with what we were ordering instead (just got a different drink in the purse). The atmosphere was fun, with modern pop music playing at the perfect volume. The food was delicious! One of my friends was given the wrong order, but this was promptly dealt with and her meal was free. I would definitely go again - it's a great spot for a fun brunch.
What a lovely place! The view was truly breathtaking, and the staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, and you could feel the warmth in the atmosphere. The great vibe, soothing music, and charming decor all came together to create a memorable experience.
One of the best features that they advertise is that it's a glass top ceiling. It is a ceiling that you look through, which is not really clear. The noise volume was high, but the main reason that I have well actually there's two it is advertised as of a nice place for dinner it does not it is more like something you would get at a bar. We had to send our food back for one of us. The other thing is the restroom which was the worst I've ever seen the line was extremely long because it's two shared restrooms. They were filthy, overflowing with trash, and there was even toilet paper that had been drugged out into the hallway that remained there was staff and walked back-and-forth . With those issues it didn't really feel like a date night to remember.
The Glass Ceiling is a great rooftop spot for casual drinks, the views are awesome. However, upon our initial arrival, we were told that it was last call for both food and drink. Our reservation was made for 10PM (at around 9PM). We were still seated and served, but it did appear that the host was irritated that OpenTable allowed for this. Otherwise, we had a great experience.
Went here for brunch on our girls trip. Excellent food and service. Crème brûlée French toast was outstanding !!! Bottomless mimosas are always a place. Would def go back.

Oh boy, where should I start?
The atmosphere was nice, but ends there. Our original server, Will, took our drink and food order, but was never seen again. Thankfully, James was kind enough to check on our food order and gave us our additional drinks. A manager also had to attend to us and apologize for the wait. One group member received her food, but two of us didn't. It was almost 1/2 hour. All I had was a BLT (that was made incorrectly and had to be returned). We had unlimited drinks, but ended up with only two each.
Would I go back? Nope.

Terrible service, you come at brunch time and pay for that service and they only serve you a drink once and they never serve you a drink again, very bad.

First time trying here and I loved the experience. Nice view and the food looks amazing, the cocktail could have been stronger though but probably its just me. I would love to go back and try other options on the menu.

Great cocktails in a very cute and cozy spot with a view of the Empire State Building! The service was great - friendly, had thoughtful cocktail recommendations, and were very attentive. Was able to get a quick last minute reservation. Highly recommend for a date or intimate catch up with a friend.
