Delicious! The gnocchi were soft and light. The bolognese tasted like home. The artichoke appetizer was light and refreshing. Early reservation so it wasn't crowded.
We were visiting NY from Michigan for a quick family getaway before our oldest son leaves for college in the next week. We love Gnocchi, and when I found a restaurant that specialized mostly in it, I knew we would be trying it out even though it was not in the area we were staying. It did not disappoint. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. I cannot recommend the Ricotta Stuffed Gnocchi with Burrata Sauce enough! My husband ordered it, but ended up sharing my meal since I ate half of his because it was so wonderful. We will be back for that menu item, for sure! Giorgio, our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the evening so nice. My husband had finished his glass of wine from the bottle of Cabernet we ordered, and he brought him a small glass and said, “No lady should drink alone. Enjoy.” It was a small little consideration and touch that will also ensure we return.
Had the carbonara Gnocchi (Delicious), Eggplant Parm (Delicious), Lasagna (Delicious), Fried Calamari(Delicious),Meatballs were too meaty but good, Sauce was just right with no intense heavy flavors.. It complimented all the dishes that it accompanied. Great Service very attentive !!!
As an Italian American, I have watched their reels drooling from my home in FL. The quality of the gnocchi were tremendous and their sauces were authentically Italian. The staff was so friendly and fantastic. I cannot wait to return to NYC.
Great food and very kind people. Don't think there's a single bad decision to make on the menu! Some construction is in the area so it a bit Noisy outside.
Amazing restaurant and it's great food and wonderful service I come here all the time and never have a less than perfect experience. Giorgio is the best.

Fantastic gnocchi. My wife had the bolognese and I had the montanara. Both were excellent, back to the bolognese, I am especially biased. My family is from Italy, I’m first generation and I grew up eating really well. It’s difficult for me to eat pasta out because I know how to cook. To sit down and have a perfect meal was wonderful. I recommend this gem for casual wonderful gnocchi, true to traditional Italian. Ciro was a wonderful host with great recommendations, the staff were prompt and knowledgeable.

We had a great dining experience at Gnoccheria.....quaint little restaurant in the East Village. The food was terrific, but what set the place apart was the fabulous service that we received from our server, Ciro. Definitely on our “dine again” list when we get back to NYC!
Amazing, would come again

The fried gnocchi was very underwhelming and the calamari was overcooked. The stuffed gnocchi were delicious. At one point, the server dropped off a bowl of grated Parmesan on our table, then several minutes later, picked it back up, replaced ours with a new one, and put our old one on someone else's table. After that, we felt weird about using it at all.
