This place was fantastic! We stumbled across it whole staying in the lower east side while on vacation. It only seats about 10 people but wow! do they put out some quality southern-style food, locally sourced and made from scratch. Juice fresh squeezed, coffee hand-pressed and delicious food. The three of us each had something different and we all loved what we had. Service friendly and fast, too. Also, Motown music playing all the while gave it a good vibe. Highly recommend.
The food was really great. Especially the fried chicken on any of the dishes whether it be the waffles or anything else. Legitimately the bat around the fried chicken was amazing and very unique.
