High-quality intestine bbq (get the assortment of Gui). 10% discount with cash. Add the fried rice at the end.

The assorted plate is a good value - cheaper than Jongro, expert grilling, amazing fried rice option. Also kind service when we went. 10/10

March 28: Foods decent little under seasoned, bad place for anyone with kids though We were refused the combo menu because it comes with a bottle of soju and all they said was we can't order off the combo menu because we had a child with us and the child doesn't have an ID.. so I was forced to pay more for the same menu items because I had a kid. Kind of shitty.

Seriously the best kbbq in ktown, everytime I come great food and service. Even if you do not like intestines they have traditional kbbq options like porkbelly and beef shortribs. We got the classic and marinated assorted intestines, and the spicy grilled chicken as a side, all amazing!!!

Bad service. It wasn’t busy there were few empty tables. Me and my friend ordered over $160 worth food for 2 ppl. Not 1 server check us if we need anything . We had to hollar them few times to get more orders. Young waitress working there looking like don’t like her job or something. She doesn’t talk back when we ask stuffs Also she pour so much gochujang sause on the rice.. yeah I left 20 % tips didn’t wanna ruin the dinner. but won’t come back to this location. It was my 5 th visit.

Up the stairs we went to this second floor restaurant on a super rainy afternoon. There was an umbrella bag dispenser that I spent way too much time figuring out, but the girl who worked there stood patiently and waited until our plastic bags gave a good enough impression of keeping the wetness inside. We ordered one portion of un-marinated large intestines and a honeycomb pork belly, each with its own bowl of rice. They placed a thin metal wooden thing on the table that looked like it was asking to get hot. Then out came the large intestines alongside a wad of green onion, representing the final grass meal eaten by this cow. A large partition was then placed on the table and a ton of seasoning powder was shaken with wild abandon onto the little nuggets of fat and stretchy serosa. I very much enjoyed this. The partition made me feel like this cow was up to something we weren't supposed to see. I took a peek and it was sizzling all by itself without any witnesses. For five whole minutes, I wholeheartedly believed this was sorcery because I didn't know where the heat was coming from. Was this even heat? Was it a chemical reaction created by the powder? I then realized there were induction cooktops beneath every table and was the reason for the very many hazardous cords in the restaurant. Nevertheless, this was a 5/5 magic show. The partition really added to the suspense, and the generous sprinkling of powder created the sort of poof you'd expect when magicians do their quick outfit changes or disappear. I would have been very tickled if the food had disappeared. I wouldn't even remember that I came to eat. The intestines were pure joy. They were plump and juicy, if "juicy" is even a proper word to describe straight up fat. Along with the pork belly and rice, this was the sort of meal you'd want to come home to after fighting in a war for several months, the sort of meal you'd want after starving from a famine, the sort of meal you eat when you can finally rest in abundance. As the fat solidified on my plate into a milky white wax and my body grew into what had been loose clothing at the start of the meal, I knew I would be coming back again.

DELICIOUS FOOD, RUDE WAITRESSGopchang story has been my favorite Ktown restaurant for years and I've brought several of my friends here on different occasions. However, today, I was disappointed by the service and attitude of one particular waitress. The rest of the staff was very nice and helpful, but my waitress acted in a rude and passive aggressive manner. After I arrived and used the restroom, she stopped me on my way back and asked to see my ID. No explanation whatsoever, with a cold, quite police-like attitude. I had just arrived a few minutes ago and walked out of the restroom, hadn't had my first bite, and suddenly she made me feel like a criminal on the run. It was so out of the blue. Turns out someone at my table ordered a beer and she requested to see the ID of everyone in the party, despite his explanation that the beer was for him and nobody else (obviously?). I understand that it was her job to check guests' IDs, but damn she didn't let me finish walking back to my table and sitting down, and didn't even explain to me what was going on. She just stopped me mid-way and demanded to see my ID.The unprofessional attitude of my waitress spoiled my evening out and honestly my perception of Gopchang. The food was delicious, as you can see in the pictures, but sadly I had to give an average review for one of my favorite restaurants due to the rude, cold, and unwarranted attitude of someone in the staff. It would be a long time until I consider the next visit. Truly disappointed. For the manager: I dined at Gopchang on Sunday evening, Feb 25, starting 9:50pm to 10:40pm.

The girl who work at front door is so lost.Made a reservation, basically got in line online and arrived at the restaurant when there were 2 tables in front of us, so we walked in and let the girl know we are here, she checked our name in her computer and said to wait, table will be ready soon, fine we are waiting. We see more and more people leaving and our phone notification says “0 parties in front of you”, so we walked in and showed it to her, she is like “yeah yeah they are cleaning table now and will call you shortly”, also there was male waiter/manager idk, who also checked our name in computer, our name appeared to be first in their list and he also assured us that table is almost ready, so we stepped outside to keep waiting. (By the way this whole time we stayed right outside entrance door so she saw us this whole time). So we standing there and more time passes and they still don’t call us, but instead we got the message our reservation canceled because we didn’t confirm it. Lol really? We walked inside 3d time and showed it to them the message. And the girl look at us like she see us first time and telling us that we didn’t reply the message we got, that’s why our reservation cancelled. Like are you for real? We kept checking with you, you see us with your eyes, telling us table almost ready, and after play a game “idk who you are”. And the male manager/waiter guy he also looked at us “did you guys make reservation?”. Man you checked my name in computer yourself, why do you ask me this question. They keep telling us we had to press “1” to reply that message we got. But let me tell you, I used to go to this restaurant once a month, always get my reservation with google, when it’s my turn I’m at the door and they give me table, I never reply on message I get, because I arrive at the door and let them know I’m here, it always worked like this. But this time suddenly we HAD TO REPLY to message we got, even tho I never did before, because it’s logical if the host sees you at the door and already confirmed to you, that your table is almost ready, so you prob don’t want to look at your phone anymore and keep checking on reservation.I’m so disappointed, I truly loved food at this restaurant, and I used to come so often. To girl at front door “you had only one job”, how someone can be so bad.

I totally forgot to take a picture of it cooked but that's how good it was!! Portion was perfect to share for 2 and I loved how everything was seasoned well. I liked having the intestine fried rice to balance with some spicy flavor. I'm a huge fan of intestines and will definitely come back next time I'm craving it

The beef intestines are particularly delicious, the cold noodles are average, and there are many people on weekday evenings. Highly recommended!

We got the marinated assorted set and it was delicious! The small was good enough to feed two and so was the fried rice. The servers were quick and attentive. My only criticism is that they should mention not to eat the meat before they start cooking. Ours was covered in sauce so we thought it was cooked. Luckily, our server came fast enough so we didn't eat it. The ambience is very nice! Perfect combo of cozy but spacious! I felt like it we had room to breathe! But keep in mind we went on a wed night around 6:30. The lights were also very cute!
