We chose this restaurant because it was on a list of quieter restaurants. It may have been our bad timing Sat of st Patrick's day - but it was really loud.
Great food and great service. Make us feel like regulars whenever we come! Always enjoy the atmosphere ! Local bar vibe but attractive and comfortable.
This has been our traditional place for Xmas dinner for many years. The food is plentiful and delicious, the people are friendly and the service is great. The apple blossom pie with ice cream is absolutely divine! The dining room is decorated beautifully with greenery and strings of lights. A lovely place for Christmas dinner!
Came in before seeing a show and it took an hour to get our food. Once it finally arrived, my friend got the wrong dish! It wasn't busy. That's when mistakes are made, I've found. He had a wait another several minutes to get his food. I waited. By the time he told me to go ahead without him, my food was cold. Had to ask to get my water refilled after waiting a while for service. All I was drinking was water and it was in the smallest retro 1970's glass. So I drank it fast. Disappointed and embarrassed in front of my friend as I raced about how good the food was. Next time we'll sit at the bar. We made it to the show on time, thankfully we're fast eaters.
I first tried Gossip Restaurant in 2023 because of a friend that needs to be close to Port Authority for NJ Transit bus access and it's close to Time Square. Found this special restaurant on OpenTable for its location and value, and we were very satisfied with the food and service afterwards. This recent visit I had to meet another NJ friend that also needs to be close to Port Authority. Although I vaguely remember the restaurant's name, I did remember it was close to Port Authority, and that the food and service were great. So I log-in to my OpenTable account and made a reservation without hesitation. This time around, we had brunch. There were a few regulars dining inside this fairly big restaurant as well. My friend and I were very satisfied and happily walked away with full bellies. Gossip is highly recommended for its location, value, and taste. All of the food servers are super nice even when we stayed there for over 2 hours on a Saturday noon through afternoon. I am impressed with their kind hospitality!
It's a great reasonable place for food and everyone seem to like their entrées... But my friend and I ordered the filet mignon steak sandwich and to be honest it was fairly awful and overcooked. it's a great place for a friends gathering, but I would avoid the filet mignon steak sandwich
Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Happy hour till 10pm so cheap drinks. I had a nice veg quesadilla and husband had an amazing shepherds pie.

By far my favorite place in Hells Kitchen, possibly the whole city. Bartenders are friendly and funny (ask for Tiernan). Food has never failed to surpass my expectations. Just found out they are a Michigan Bar, so I plan to watch all the games there this season.

I walked by this place a few times and decided to finally go in. I'm so glad I did. It was pretty quiet in there which I find odd because my experience there was really great.
First off, hats off to our bartender, Tiernan. My favorite part of most restaurants/bars is great service and I truly appreciated how amazing he was. He gave great recommendations for food and he hit the nail on the head. He recommended the Filet Mignon steak sandwich and it was a 10. He said it was "life changing" and it was close to it. My friend got their burger and he was happy with it. Definitely somewhere I'd go again to try his other recommendation, the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich or even their Sunday Brunch. I really love finding new and fun places to eat and drink.
Thank you Tiernan!
