Love this restaurant. The vibe is perfect - elevated but welcoming. The decor is attractive without being overpowering, and even though the ceilings are high, it manages to be cozy. The service is always excellent, and the lovely added touches like an added desert or glass of wine for a special occation are really appreciated. The food is inventive and delicious - last night we split the tuna tartare and the pork belly, and both were perfect. Big plus for Billy at the bar - friendly, knows a lot about New York, knows a lot about the menu! You can't go wrong, either for a special occasion or just a Wednesday night - this is one of the best choices in the West Village.

It was excellent, we had a great time at Gotham. The waiters, managers were also great and I felt I made the right choice to come to your restaurant. My lady really loved ambience, the food and general service. I also enjoyed the dessert ? which I normally don't prefer the choices I see in their menus.

Gotham is a truly outstanding restaurant experience. We were treated warmly from the moment we entered the restaurant. Our server Shadi was wonderful. The food was amazing, from appetizer to entree to dessert. One of my favorite evenings in New York ever.

Lovely setting, wonderful food beautifully served by an attentive, accommodating, and courteous staff. A lovely experience in every way - I had the duck, which was perfect, and my friend had the arctic char. We also adored the refreshingly light and delicious flourless chocolate cake.
