Excellent as always. One of the best steakhouses in NYC. Pro tip - if it’s just two, sit in the cozy front corner of the bar in the speakeasy below for you meal and def order the twice baked and the creamed spinach
Legit, some the best steaks I’ve had in NYC in a while. Our party had the tomahawk, porterhouse, bone-in ribeye, and fillet. All absolutely amazing! Seasoned to perfection and charred. Sides and appetizers all on point. Wines, great. And the desert…fantastic. Strip House is one of the steakhouse worth every penny.

Recent reviews highlight wonderful experiences for special occasions, such as anniversaries and family gatherings, where the filet, strip, truffle fries, whipped potatoes, and Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked. The Mac and cheese is a must-try, as well as the truffle creamed spinach. The salmon was a little bland, but the baked Alaska was an amazing experience, though with a strong alcohol taste. The ribeye was described as the best steak the guest had ever had.
The restaurant is a consistent classic in the city, with friendly vibes and no pretentiousness. The shrimp cocktails are large and juicy, and the layered chocolate cake is very good. The Porterhouse for two is very peppery and charred, but the filet side is especially good.
