“I've been to Keens before, and I always like it when I'm in Manhattan. The food is good, and the service is great too. I think the steaks could use a bit more seasoning, though. They do mention something about salt on the menu, and I even asked my server to season it well, but it still needed a bit more. But overall, it's a nice place to go.“
“1st time in NYC, went for lunch at Gallaghers based on random Google search. Restaurant has a nice crowd, not too loud. No queueing at lunch time. Order medium fillet mignon, To our surprise the steak is perfectly done to our liking, service is decent. Will definitely be back next time.“
“What a fantastic experience this was! We went here for dinner with a group of four and we had a fantastic evening. The ambiance is beautiful and fits perfectly with the New York style. There was nice live music so that completed the atmosphere. The food was delicious! we rarely have such a tasty piece of meat. A real winner and highly recommended. we had an unforgettable evening.“
“Absolutelly wonderful experience. Every single member of the staff is friendly, respectful and professional. The food is out of this planet, delicious, beautifully presented and served. The wine list is very interesting, diverse and extensive. 100% going back.“
“Food was delicious - especially the bread omg. Everything was al a carte. Came here straight from broadway- very close walking distance. Drinks were perfect and the staff was soo attentive.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and are the Mac and cheese and broccoli side dishes. Other vegetarian options available“
“We noticed the queue outside and got curious. After a few minutes they give us a table. Both the venue and the environment are very beautiful. The staff welcomes us and brings us drinks. A nice and smiling gentleman arrives to explain to us that for 45 dollars each they will bring us a steak (EXCELLENT), and then we will have plenty of chips and salad. The food arrives with our requests fully satisfied. Friendly staff and price appropriate to the quality of the food. When I return to New York I will definitely go there“
“I celebrated my 60th birthday last night at Rocco's and what an amazing treat! From the restaurant manager who doesn't miss a single detail to the gentlemen servers who are all professionals with glowing personalities. We were provided with a dessert on the house so they could put a candle in it and sing to me. It was like listening to a well-trained Italian Quartet. The food was beyond reproach as were the drinks. I cannot wait to visit Rocco's again and would recommend to anyone in the area. The decor is wonderful and the attention from Vinny and his wonderful sense of humor only added to our wonderful evening.“
“I went to the grill with my fiancé and friends after he proposed to celebrate. It's truly an elevated dining experience that makes the night special. The women's restroom has a lounge with beautiful vanity mirrors. The pasta a la presse was a highlight of the night because it was delicious but also because it was prepared table side with an explanation of its origin. The bread for the table had a lot of variety and was delicious. For my entree I had the lobster which was beautiful and tasted divine. The baked Alaska is a must for dessert since it's set ablaze at the table! If you're having trouble making a reservation we were able to secure ours with the Dorsa app.“
“Our dinner at The Capital Grille was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect...sophisticated, elegant, comfortable, and designed to accommodate pleasant conversation without having to raise one's voice to be heard. The staff were wonderful, patient, and caring in all areas...personal presentation, listening carefully, speaking in professionally-friendly tones, accommodating reasonable requests, delivering orders in an efficient manner and making the food visually attractive. One of our entrees was seafood and the other was beef. Both were made and delivered at the exactly correct temperature and level of "done-ness". The desserts were absolutely delicious as well. Our meals were perfect in taste and in volume. We celebrated a birthday at my table and the staff was generous in providing an unexpected and beautiful dessert made especially for our occasion. Our table consisted of good friends who hadn't seen each other in a long while, so our conversation was important to us. The staff respected our "space" and we never felt rushed or pressured. We were thrilled with the whole experience and felt that it was worth the price that we paid.“
“My first time coming to Harry's was tonight and wow, did I make the right decision. I sat at the bar but the vibe of the restaurant was super classy yet upbeat. The bartenders were super friendly and attentive. I ordered the half dozen oysters and flank steak which may have been the best I've ever had. This place is a must visit!“
“I just need to say. After I finished my excellent meal. I had a food high and craved a cigar and a Cognac. I got the preferred Cognac selection can't remember the exact name, but it was 225.00 for a glass. The best Cognac I ever had. I had an amazing food experience. Here are the pictures. By the way, I had the Meat Sushi for the appetizer and the Salmon for the Main. For the Table, we got the Tomahawk Steak medium rare, a dozen oysters, blooming onion, and crab legs oh I forgot I had a classic mojito in the beginning. ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU GO. IT'S WORTH EVERY EXPENSIVE DOLLAR. BON APPETIT.“
“4 Charles Prime Rib in NYC offers a luxurious dining experience that's sure to impress even the most discerning steak enthusiasts. From the moment you step inside, the elegant ambiance and attentive service set the stage for a memorable meal. I recently dined here on a date and indulged in their famed "Prime Rib," a succulent and perfectly cooked cut of meat that practically melts in your mouth. Additionally, we couldn't resist trying their burger. It was tough to secure a reservation.“
“I've eaten at the downtown Strip House many times over the years, but hadn't been back for a good 10 years due to life, COVID and what not. Finally had chance to go back and was happy to experience the same amazing strip steak that is the Strip House. Perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing char and that black pepper bite. There are many excellent steakhouses and types of steaks that you can have everywhere, but the Strip House and their strip steak is one of a kind that you need to try at least once. If it's not to your taste, so be it, but for me, it's a wonderful steak that's a nice contrast to the different steak experiences at Lugers, Wolfgang's or the like.“
“Let's be honest, my bar was high for this restaurant not only for the fairly expensive price but also for the reputation attributed to this restaurant for decades.I was totally blown away by the unique taste of the filet mignon I ate, the flavors of the aged steak were unbeatable. This is definitely my best filet mignon ever. The succulent mushroom accompaniment.A must try once in your life for steak lovers.“
“We had a great night! The experience was wonderful and the staff was very attentive and helpful. You will not get a better steak anywhere and the sides were just as delicious. Will definitely be back on our next trip to NYC. Tried to share some pics and I couldn’t“
“This is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. Close to Times Square and Broadway, shopping and restaurants! The staff is amazing. All are friendly and helpful. Great food and drinks. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stylish. I’ve found my New York hotel!“
“Very classy interior, old fashioned atmosphere. A bit more expensive than I would be comfortable with. Appetizers and main course were amazing. I had tuna tartare and Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, my husband had New York Strip Steak. It was so good, so delicious! And we decided to order some deserts. It was a mistake though! My Apple Strudel was absolutely different from what I had expected. My husband had a Lemon Sorbet, which had not any test at all and was too icy, it had not a smoothie texture at all. So we had been really disappointed with desert.“
“The food was the best. I have never had anything like this in my life and it's truly amazing. The steak melts in your mouth and it filled my stomach with joy. And the desserts where do I even start everything was masterfully crafted and made with love. You can tell that the chefs really care about every dish that they make and take pride in it too. Also the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Also the vibe was really cool we are in these barrels which had a nice atmosphere and further played into the overall experience of this steakhouse.“
“A bit overpriced but much nicer than other restaurants. We had a lovely time and our waiter Tony was amazing. The steak we asked for was medium rare and it was a bit too cooked (more like medium to medium well, not red in the center anymore) but we hate to send steaks back as we know they simply throw those out. Otherwise, the taste and flavors were simply fantastic. Would visit again for an occasion!“
“We had the best experience at Bobby Van's! Our waiter, Paul, made our meal so memorable by offering outstanding menu suggestions, being incredibly attentive despite a packed restaurant, and keeping us entertained with his delightful personality. The meal was spot on: great wine, oysters on the half shell (incredible), Caesar salad, the porterhouse for two (wow!), sautéed mushrooms, cheesecake and after dinner drinks to top it off. We will definitely be back!“
“Marquis was an excellent waiter for my birthday he really went above and beyond and made sure we were well taken care of, the vibe soon as we came in was amazing. Food was excellent and to die for could not recommend it enough to friends and family who just want an escape from the city and want great food and service. Marquis thank you again for the great service definitely will be coming back after this experience to try that Japanese Wagyu A5.“
“I couldn't recommend this place more highly. Chef Itai is incredibly gifted and so welcoming. His dishes are absolutely delicious, so creative and such an inspiration to experience. The meals are designed with so much thought and sophisticated detail. I loved the shawarma bao buns, lamb cigars and the steak. The desserts (lava cake, churros, tiramisu, crumb cake, soufflé and ice cream) were to die for! I can't wait to go back - this is such a special place!“
“Wife and I never miss going here when we visit NY. Bartenders are great, food, service ECT.......We haven't visited NY since before Covid and not planning on it anytime soon because of all the violence. Speaking of violence. One reason why Sparks is so famous is because of violence. But that's why we love it.“
“I didn’t want the expensive price, like Keens and Johnnie’s, but still a good quality steak. I was able find Westside Steakhouse on trip adviser. Good quality steaks with out breaking the bank. I ordered a NY steak medium, it was cooked perfectly and I added crumble blue cheese for perfection. The mushroom risotto was moist and delicious. My son said that there Mac n Cheese one of the best he has eaten. The ambiance is great and the staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this restaurant!“
“240417 Wonderful steak experience. Top notch dishes. Friendly and professional service.Lovely bread basket with delightful soft salted butter. It’s hard to save space for the meat! The Benjamin Salad is healthy and refreshing, with lots of crab meat and apple. I like how it doesn’t have too much greasy or heavy dressing but maybe a little more vinegar will work better here.Baked clams are lovely too. Plump clam meat covered in creamy sauce, without being overpowered.Hot plates before steak. Legit.NY Sirloin bone in.The crust is insane. ? Every crispy without being burnt. Beautifully buttery, fragrant, yet not greasy at all. Crunchy to the last bite!! The center is gorgeously pink, tender, and juicy. Perfectly medium.Surf and Turf is of great value, filet mignon (allegedly of the same quality as above) and plump pieces of lobster, shrimp, and crab leg. The sauce is tasty and not too heavy. I even enjoyed dipping my bread in it.Asparagus side is also wonderful. Robust, fresh, tender, perfectly steamed.Pity that we didn’t have any more space for dessert (esp cheesecake). Maybe next time!NYC is competitive with many traps as well, but this place still exceeds my expectation, guaranteed delicious. The space is bustling and can be quite loud/crowded/not intimate enough. For us it’s alright, elevated old school decoration without being pretentious.Thank you Edmond and the chefs in the kitchen for making our day <3“
“The steak is a cut above. The seafood platter was balanced, it is a platter not a tower. The spinach with slivers of garlic and the mushrooms were excellent. The truffle butter was lovely. The table next to us had a vegan and a vegetarian. The waiter selected items for them carefully and respectfully. They ended up with an excellent meal. The best steak I have had in Soho, and not a chain.Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian pasta courses, salads, and appetizers.“
“We ate there two Shabbats in the last month.Excellent foodExcellent service .Ephraim the owner is there and takes care of everyone.Reasonable price for a very good Saturday night dinner(New prices are expensive). In short, delicious, nice and worth every dollar.with appetite“
“I have to say yesterday was not my first time going here. I feel like it’s gotten even better with time. We got the mushroom and artichoke. It was out of this world. Also we got the Boneless Rib Eye. Might be one of the most flavorful steaks I’ve ever eaten. Thank you!“
“Fantastic Night at American Cut (Especially the Service!) I had an incredible return visit to American Cut! Everything was on point this evening. The star of the show was our waiter, Russ. He provided fantastic recommendations for both cocktails and wine pairings. We also indulged in some phenomenal appetizers, with the smoked wagyu and steak tartar being true standouts. Our entrees were equally impressive, particularly the porterhouse, tomahawk, wagyu, and the decadent mac and cheese. Even though my guests and I trekked down from uptown, the experience was absolutely worth it. The entire evening was amazing, and a big shoutout goes to the manager, Joey. The ambiance was also perfect for a client dinner or night out with great friends. Finally, major kudos to Adona, the hostess, who always greets us with warmth and exceptional hospitality - a true lifesaver after a long day.“
“Wonderful experience on a Friday evening steak was cooked perfectly but under seasoned IMHO side of creamed spinach perfect a bit stoic on second floor in regard to ambiance lower level bar much more fun waiter Sal was best I have encountered in years“
“I have to be honest, I didn't know this place existed! My boyfriend surprised me with a birthday dinner here back in January and I forgot to review it. I have to be honest, riding up the escalator, you'd think you're going to Per Se, my boyfriend immediately shut that down (?).We had pleasant evening, with a great table by the window overlooking the outside NYC streets. Every steakhouse we've gone to, we've ordered the same things: a martini, whiskey neat, caesar salad, porterhouse or tomahawk and 1-2 sides.I also got a surprise slice of birthday cake, thank you!(See Photos section for pictures)“
“Absolutely loved this place! Went for a birthday, but even on a regular day, they really know how to make the entire experience an unforgettable one and make you feel special.Food is amazing, service is elite, and the atmosphere will leave a lasting impression on you long after you've finished your dessert!“
“I first time went to this restaurant, and it was awesome! The place had a great vibe, the service was top-notch, and the food was seriously delicious. Every dish had this perfect mix of flavors that just blew my mind. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, definitely check out this spot.“
“Porter house 10/10 Hazelnut ice cream 10/10 Exp 10/10 Service 10/10 Absolutely amazing food and ambience. If you really a steak lover, that porter house is best steak in town for sure. Been to a lot of restaurants but food, if you want to be well fed, this is a top choice. Thank you about amazing experience. :)“

“Good food...just needs to be a bigger spot...for the amount of people that come...Vegetarian options: Needs more vegetarian options for appetizers.Parking: Street parking where you can find it.Wheelchair accessibility: No room really for wheelchair...its a tight space.“
“After visiting The Palm at Atlantic City my husband and I fell in love with this place we knew we definitely wanted to come back. On a date night we stumbled upon one right here in midtown the excitement of knowing one was right here plans were made to have dinner for our anniversary. On opentable i made reservations and put we were celebrating our anniversary. upon arriving our table had a card i thought maybe it was apart of their welcome and we opened it and we were in aww. The card wished us a congrats and happy anniversary with a cute confetti “happy anniversary’ and was signed. It was the sweetest gesture and it made us smile. Dinner was amazing the food was heavenly just like we imagined it would be. Wine was just right, the Long Island ice tea (top shelf) my husband’s favorite was made nice and strong. At the end of dinner the waiter came out with 2 dishes with candles one with ice cream the other with a delicious strawberry cheesecake and said Happy Anniversary to you both we both smiled looked at each other then at the waiter and said thank you so much not only for being an awesome waiter but for making our dinner anniversary special. We didn’t expect the card or the desserts it truly made our night. Dinner at an amazing restaurant and a spa night to top it off you can’t go wrong. Thank you again to The Palm at midtown manhattan for a wonderful experience and a beautiful evening. Your restaurant will always be our favorite and by far one of our top priority destinations.“
“For nearly two decades, I've frequented this establishment, finding it to be the epitome of excellence among New York City's myriad dining options. From the impeccable service to the tantalizing array of dishes, every aspect of the dining experience here surpasses expectations, making it an enduring favorite of mine.“
“Came with my fiancée for a pre birthday dinner before a Ranger game. Staff food ambience on point!! Filet mignon cooked perfectly (and I am picky). Jerry our waiter was on his game. Knows also how to have fun with his guests. 5 out 5 for us!“
“Looking for an incredible steakhouse? Stop right here and get yourself over to Strip House. The steaks were absolutely perfect and easily one of the best steakhouses out there. They start you off with these warm, soft pretzel rolls with the softest butter that melts in your mouth. Hard to resist not ordering more.I ordered the filet mignon au poivre and they nailed it. I love the charred salt and pepper seasoning on top and combined with the sauce, it was outstanding.Do NOT skip out on the sides. There are sooo many to choose from and they’re all so delicious. Number one is the whipped potato puree, which is so perfectly buttery. Also get the Mac and cheese and the black truffle creamed spinach. Finally, we ended the night with their classic 24 layer chocolate cake. We split one slice with 4 people and we were STUFFED.Can’t wait to come back here for more!!“
“We had an amazing time and dinner was just perfect, the steak are just yummy. Make sure you have enough $$ before going here cause it’s pretty expensive but you’ll enjoy the food. Service was amazing and atmosphere very cosy.Recommended.“
“Last night I attended blt prime and not only was the service amazing but so was the prime rib . Prices were on the high side but our server made the effort to make a friends birthday special. Food tastes fresh and I was very happy with the establishment .“
“Amazing from the service to the food. We had the lobster bisque, lobster pasta with vodka sauce, and the veggie spring rolls. Everything came out hit and fresh. We enjoyed Moscow mules and sparkling water with our dinner. Our best meal in New York.Vegetarian options: They have appetizers and main dishes that are vegetarian.“
“Staff were wonderful and the service was on point. We were a large group but the food arrived well placed and warm all at the same time. We did not ask for a birthday cake but they overheard us congratulate our colleague and surprised us with a birthday cake and cakes for the table, free of charge. Very attentive and high quality food. Ribeye was outstanding! Fish incredibly fresh.Vegetarian options: Well done!!Dietary restrictions: AccommodatedKid-friendliness: Accomodated“
“Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Had the $40 lunch special and so did my wife. Both steaks cooked to perfection. Probably the BEST steak I've ever eaten. We do a travel and food channel on YouTube from our home in London and will certainly recommend this outstanding establishment on the East side of Manhattan. Definitely 10/10.“
“Amazing dinner at DK. The mushroom soup was so savory. The striped bass was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were wonderful. Excellent peanut butter chocolate cake, too. Service was outstanding and prices most reasonable. Look forward to returning.“
“The chase: Excellent old-school cozy neighborhood chop house, with red leather booths and a classic bar that serves artfully mixed classic cocktails. Donohue's is a portal to the past, a comfortable neighborhood joint, what used to be called a red booth steak and chop house. Though I had not been here in over 20 years (has it really been that long?), Donohue's has always been my touchstone for the classic red booth atmosphere and cuisine. "The Daily Grill" chain scratched this itch from time to time, as did Beverly Hill's "Grill in the Alley," but last night I decided to go crosstown and go back to the mothership. Though it is true that one cannot go back home again, one can certainly go back to the same neighborhood. The drinks were exemplars of the archetype. My beautiful dining companion had a gin martini (not a fake vodka version), and I had a Manhattan (made with bourbon, not rye... yeah, I'm a hypocrite); both drinks were beyond excellent, dare I say sublime? These are not heavy pours, they are balanced and not overpowering, allowing your tastebuds to do their work. We eschewed appetizers. I had the London Broil. My companion the hamburger. The hamburger with cheese (American) -- excellent! Ordered medium, each bite was better than the last. Even the bun was great. The london broil: it was London Broil, the poor man's cut, what used to be served as the steak at IHOP (it's true). The mushroom gravy was a bit heavy handed, but you get what you order and it was a good example of the presentation and serving of such a dish. The creamed spinach was excellent and did not rely on bacon bits to do any of the lifting. Service was friendly and appropriately non-intrusive. The bar still had the Christmas lights up in mis February... which I love. I think dark bars need to have Christmas lights up all year. The snowmen in the window... the jury is out. The not so great: The bread was below par, the quality of a pedestrian soft-crusted store-bought baguette. The butter, however, was a good temperature for spreading without being melted. That said, I was hoping for a grilled sourdough. The baked potato was nice and soft on the inside, but so was the skin and I prefer a crunch thicker skin. The menu is pretty thin and prices are high. You can't go home again, but you can go back to Donohue's to get a solid drink, the burger and the creamed spinach. Maybe the salmon. I'll report back.“
“Hosted a private dinner for my company and we loved it. Space was great, staff was on top of everything and the service was amazing. Food came out fast and they were very accommodating. They did rush us out of there since our time was up which I completely understand but we didn't even get a chance to eat our dessert we paid for and didn't get a chance to order an after dinner drink. Micheal and Danny were great waiters!“
“We are regular customers and each time we come here, we are treated like family. Recently we celebrated my husband's 40th birthday. Our waiters and staff went over and beyond to make his day so special. Our guests were very impressed as this was many of their first time here. You should know that we are no strangers to fine dining and big-time steak lovers . .but Empire East 50th is genuinely top notch. ?“
“Outstanding experience! Steaks, Chicken Parm, Sides where amazing! The Vinyl Albums getting turned. Feel the hospitality from owner Kevin & wife Sophia & Staff! Just amazing! oh - the martini's and wine where amazing too!!!“
