Went in for an afternoon decaf … took a few minutes but worth it. The best, most flavorful decaf americano I’ve had

This is legit the best coffee in the city. Confused how this place doesnt have the full 5 stars? Maybe bc of the croissants?

Finding good coffee in the city is one of my favorite things to do and after finding this place on Instagram I knew I had to check them out. The interior of the cafe is a bit small but has a very cozy atmosphere. The baristas were nice and not too busy. I asked for a pour over and was expecting a cup but was given a carafe which allowed me to enjoy the coffee more. The single origin Colombian coffee was delicious and very clear. Overall a great coffee roaster from New York.

I would go here everyday if I lived closer. Thank you to the handsome barista with the glasses for a wonderful matcha latte with oat milk.
Great options for vegans, great coffee! I bought some to take home and prepare in my french press.

Gotham’s known for having darker roasts than what’s trendy among the “third wave cafes”. Dark roasts often destroy the beans’ character. Here the pourover tasted clean and complex with notes of tobacco and herbs. My initial thought was “this would pair wonderfully with a cigarette” even though I quit smoking years back.

Great coffee around the area. Not packed in the morning so you can easily grab a quick drink here.

I ordered an iced latte with almond milk. It was good, no complaints there. It’s a small place so there’s limiting seating inside. And the tables outside are on a slant. It’s a good place to grab a drink on the go.

Hands down the best coffee in all of New York! Gotham Coffee Roasters is a must visit for all real coffee drinkers. You will not be disappointed!
I order all of my coffee beans for home from their website. It gets delivered directly to my door freshly roasted and unlike anything else I can find. So when I’m visiting New York I have to stop by their cafe.
The space is small but mighty. If there is a line, it never lasts long as the baristas move quickly. There are only a handful of tables, but I always seem to find a seat to enjoy my coffee.
Gotham Coffee is know for their high quality coffee beans from all over the world, perfectly roasted, and you can taste the difference. They have beans from Guatemala, Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador. They have bags of whole beans available for purchase at the cafe as well.
The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly as well. They also serve multiple milk alternatives which is nice.
5/5 stars, Gotham Coffee Roasters is true NYC coffee experience.
