Third and best location of this Upper East Side neighborhood fixture. One of the last remaining classic Greek diners still standing. Food is fresh, tasty, well prepared and wholesome. Service friendly and guests are treated like family. Recommended.
I moved to the Upper East Side back in July and our kitchen was filled to the brim with boxes!! I told someone a deep dark secret that my sister actually owns 99 percent of the boxes that were in the kitchen!! That is not actually a deep dark secret but she likes to have things!! Why I’m going on this rant about boxes is that I went to another diner on 1st Avenue called Gracie Mews!! I go to a lot of diners and this one since they moved from 86th Street to a new location the decor is absolutely beautiful the food was good and it was quick which I like the service was okay but not really all that friendly didn't come over and ask you how the food is are you enjoying it or just to see if you're okay not like the ones that I have gone to in the past. I would say try this Diner and see if you like it for yourself.
