It was not crowded, the service was quick & the people were extremely friendly. The food was delicious and drinks, of course, on point and quick to the table. It's a great stop along your journey if you're either parched & or hungry.??
Very nice place, good atmosphere

We love Gran Via. This is our go-to spot for Spanish Tapas. It's not about to be awarded a Michelin star, but the food is solid. Recommended. Order the morcilla!

We arrived on Saturday evening to find only one table occupied and two people at the bar. The food was okay, but the service left much to be desired. Our first dish was served without plates or utensils. I requested them after a five-minute wait. Although plates and forks were provided after my initial inquiry, I had to ask again for a knife. I agree with a previous reviewer that there are almost no service. What shocked me most was the discrepancy in the bill. I wrote $117 (including an above 15% tip) on the credit card slip, yet they charged me $120.35. I attempted to address this issue by leaving a message through their website's contact form, their sole means of communication, but received no response after a day. While it's not a significant amount, this experience is both disgraceful and potentially illegal.

An authentic Spanish tapas bar in the heart of FiDi! What a hidden gem. As someone who lived in Spain for a few months, this brings back such good memories. Sat at the bar for a quick drink and some tapas. Very good prices. Had two mushroom and manchego croquetas which just melt in your mouth, and vegetarian pinchos. My only gripe was that the pinchos tasted a little soapy - not sure why. Other than that, great ambiance - they play live music on Thursday nights!

Overall do not recommend. We went on a Saturday night and the place was almost entirely empty (to illustrate no reason for lack in service). Our server forgot to include the garnish with the Bloody Mary and the chips/bread with the charcuterie board (had to ask her to bring out both, which she then did). The bread, even by crostini standards, was stale. The homemade chips were good though. The server told us the mussels were from a can, and we should’ve listened because they definitely were from-a-can quality. Tried to order their signature Old Fashioned, but we were told it is only made in batch and they didn’t have any prepared. The tablero charcuterie board, we did a half-board and it was overpriced for what it was. The croquettes were good but small for the price. Ultimately we decided to end our dinner early and look for another restaurant on stone street. We were there for a birthday celebration and cannot recommend.
