It was a lovely experience. The restaurant staff was so friendly and welcoming. The chandeliers and ambiance were breathtaking. I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Gorgeous setting with great drinks and food. Our service was outstanding. It's one of my favorite places to spend time when in the city. I brought a group of people here for a work dinner - I was the only one who had been here before. Everyone loved it.

The Baccarat Grand Salon is truly a hidden gem in New York. From the moment you step in, it feels like you’ve entered a completely different world — luxurious, secluded, and classy, with an atmosphere that’s both refined and intimate. It has that speakeasy-style exclusivity, yet still feels warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to escape the busy city outside.

The food and drinks matched the setting perfectly. I loved the elegant tea service — the teapot presentation was beautiful and added to the overall charm of the experience. The bronzino was delicate and perfectly cooked, full of flavor without being overly heavy. The burger was equally excellent, juicy and satisfying, with just the right accompaniments. For sides, I tried the okra and eggplant, both of which were thoughtfully prepared and flavorful — a nice touch that elevated the meal beyond the usual.

Service was top-notch. The staff were attentive and professional, making the evening flow seamlessly while keeping the atmosphere relaxed. Every detail, from the way dishes were presented to the pacing of the meal, showed the high level of care that defines the Baccarat experience.

Overall, the Grand Salon is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. With its stunning setting, excellent food, and flawless service, it’s a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a memorable, high-class evening in the city.

I truly cannot say enough good things about the Grand Salon at Baccarat. It’s the perfect venue for any special occasion, whether you’re celebrating a birthday or simply indulging in a luxurious dining experience. The combination of impeccable service, stunning ambiance, and exceptional food , music and drinks makes this a 10/10 experience. The service was very poor. We couldn’t get the waitstaff to come to our table. At one point I got up to go look for our unfriendly and unsmiling waiter. The hostess was nice but most of the other staff appeared to be standing around doing nothing but talking among themselves. We each ordered a champagne but they only brought one. We had ordered our selections in advance but the waiter was unprepared for us. The only reason I give 3 stars is because the room is beautiful. Food was just OK.

While I recommend the grand salon for biz meetings and BFFs’ hangout spot, I find its high tea selections 3-star instead of 5-star.

I had a burger at the Grand Salon that was absolutely delicious: cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable, as always: gracious, attentive, yet unintrusive. While I've enjoyed their afternoon tea, I wouldn't hesitate to order that burger.

It was most definitely a five-star experience for us! Your hostess/maitre’d is the best! She was so welcoming and professional, and also made sure my friend’s birthday came off smoothly as a surprise :) Each of the other staff we encountered were also top-notch! The food and tea were delicious, and the ambiance magical. Highly recommended - what a lovely oasis on 53rd Street!
