I have been going here since Grandaisy split from Sullivan St Bakery. This is my favorite bread bakery in NYC. The filone has such a consistently beautiful crackling crust and a fluffy soft interior like no other bakery even from fancy restaurants.
This is the best sandwich in New York. it's the perfect size and price, with incredible bread. Could not recommend more highly.

I like that they are an independent bakery.
There is another bakery in Tribeca with a notoriously rude OWNER - many bad reviews about her- so I’m glad we have better options.
