Absolutely love this place! We made a reservations, they sat us immediately. We got two premium packages and two Tokyo iced teas and a soda.
Food was brought out with good timing. We were explained how long to cook everything for and they auto changed our grill to ensure we had the best quality.

This location has gone downhill massively, has been a good few years since last visit (which was regularly before) but hugely disappointing this time around. Service was very bad, didn't seem to have a dedicated server and had to flag down someone each time we needed drinks/items or another dish. Food was decent but the facilities are in dire need of updating including pretty bad restrooms. Customer service lacking and renovations needed.
It was not a very relaxing or enjoyable experience due to the extremely loud noise level. the service was quick but felt like I was part of an assembly line. The food was good and plentiful.

Imagine still being able to have an inexpensive and satisfying meal in the heart of Manhattan. There's a reason I keep returning to Gyu-Kaku for 15+ years. Even your most basic meal won't break your pockets and is of excellent quality. Go during Happy Hour and get even more bang for your buck. I'll be returning again soon.
