Crazy good food for a really great price! Our server Brendan was also fantastic with the recommendations. Definitely a great spot to come to with a group.

Loved the food and the service; the only black spot is the bathroom, always dirty and clothed. It's my third time there and is always the same story

The food is amazing. Everything was seasoned and flavorful. The beef was some of the best I’ve had

Excellent as usual. Timing went well. Spaced cocktails before order and full food delivery.

My boyfriend and I come here for every anniversary. Ever since our first visit, they have always managed to recognize us, which amazes us every time. We love that we get to enjoy our meal in peace. They always wait until we’re on our last plate of meat before coming over to ask if there’s anything else we’d like to order, which we really appreciate because it doesn’t interrupt our meal. The service is great! everyone is well mannered and always in an amazing mood. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, with no loud noise, so you’re able to relax and socialize with friends or your partner. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great date spot or a place to catch up with friends. I also highly recommend the green tea ice cream for dessert it’s to flipping die for!!

kalbi and harami was tender and juicy. I haven't come to here long time but Gyukaku keep food quality. But I don't recommend ice cream as low quality.

Gyu-Kaku is generally one of my favorite restaurants. I frequent the many locations around NY. The happy hour menu is huge and the food is tasty. However, this particular time, the air conditioning was obviously not working at the 3rd Ave location. That in addition to all the very hot grill plates at each table made the experience extremely uncomfortable. I feel management should have warned guests ahead of time or closed down the establishment to make repairs. It was over 90 degrees and waiters were wearing fans around their necks (signifying this is not a one off problem). Shame on management for allowing customers and employees to suffer for profit. Will rethink visiting again.

This place used to be my favorite spot. The staff used to greet you with a shout of aJapanese phrase. Now the chain has sold out and lost its original service.

They ruined the chicken garlic noodles. They not longer cut up the chicken they just give you bit chunks.

They accept reservations at 9:45 only to call you day of an hour before that the kitchen closes at 930. They do this to trap you into being committed to their restarting for the night.

So sad. Won’t be coming back not recommending this place.

I had dinner with my sister today at the Gyu-Kaku Lexington location. The food was great as always, but I want to give a special shout-out to Luis. He provided excellent service, was very attentive and productive, and made our dining experience even better. Thank you, Luis!

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant had a broken air conditioner and it was very hot in there. This needs to get fixed for customers and staff especially with open grills.
