Wanting to celebrate Festivus properly, I took the bus to the Second Avenue location. This location is so sparsely adorned, one wonders if it's about to close; you need to look inside to see if it's open. Staff was courteous and helpful. Egg salad on a bagel was $9.90; a half-dozen to go took the bill over $20. The egg salad needed salt. I wouldn't go again.
The bagels were really fresh.. although the everything bagel I got was flavorless. There was no roasted garlic flavor or roasted onions or even the tang of salt that one expects with an everything bagel.
The corn muffin had no flavor at all. The wonderful corn crumble was missing. It definitely was more cake than corn muffin.

One of the better bagels in NYC. Our old building stuff used to order bagels for everyone from here every Saturday morning. They were amazing and the couple of times we went there ourselves, service was excellent.
