I ordered a plain toasted bagel with butter on it, and the bagel was not at all toasted. It was lightly toasted and cold still with so much butter and when I went back a second time to get another one I basically got the same thing a lightly toasted cold bagel With a bunch of butter

Ordered & PAID extra for a plain bagel with MAPLE cream cheese. Get to my job and realized they gave me plain cream cheese. They charge extra for flavored cream cheese so I essentially paid extra for nothing. Ruined my experience and my breakfast if I wanted to get a plain bagel with plain cream cheese I would have went to the deli and paid $2 not $6. Will be going back to liberty bagels where I know my order will not be messed up.
The customer service is terrible. I asked for a bag for my bagel and the chief/ customer service person not to be disrespectful but was a man with makeup an lots of attitude throw my bagel on the counter and proceeded to leave me without a paper bag for my bagel . When I asked for a bag I was yelled at, the man in makeup said to me if you wanted a bag you should have asked for it . But the previous customers was Gaven a bag with their order with no issue or without asking . I felt like I was being picked on or treated poorly for whatever reason . I will not be back there .
Please. I recommend thinking twice about mail ordering these non-bagels. Our dozen, which were not the selections, arrived stale, hard and ugly. These ARE NOT WHAT THE PICTURES SHOW. These are made in a 3rd party factory. They are NOT - I Repeat NOT boiled and baked to ‘kosher-bagel-NYC’ spec. These are mass produced and sub par. My local supermarket has better. So very dissatisfied. As comparison we ordered Montreal bagels and they were perfect- from Canada. In this picture, that’s as far as I could cut w/o hurting my hands using all the strength I had. Oy……

Whoever owns this place should personally be embarrassed. The bagels are tough, dry, and stale. Go try it out before it closes at night. I would be mortified in the evening. Staff are somewhat nice and the atmosphere is great given the location.

Nothing like I remember H&H from years ago. The bagel was stale, and the cream cheese was mediocre.

Solid, predictably good cold lox bagel (I agree w/ the previous New Yorker: toasting ruins bagels, un-toasted is the way to go; I don't appreciate an oozing bagel) & medium roast black coffee. Yep.

Not worth it, workers are busy trading food with other vendors than doing their jobs. Gave free food away for Starbucks. Ordered a bacon egg & cheese on an everything. Food came out with some blue ink on it. Don't waste your money. Food, service & quality sucks

staff was super friendly but food was bad - bagel was fine, jalapeno cream cheese was nasty, eggs had a gross purple color to them. threw most of it away.

When I AMTRAK from Moynihan, I stop by H & H to get a bagel and cream cheese for my ride. I never remember to do it in my neighborhood. It makes me feel like I am taking a bit of NYC on my trip.
There is no atmosphere...I mean - it is a counter and a line. eh. nothing.
Service is ...kinda weird. You can't tell when to pay, who is servicing you, the order of the line. Example - yesterday I got a bagel w cc - no toast (hey! I'm a newyorker - what's with this toasting?) and I stood for a full five minutes- my bag already done and in hand, until the two people in front of me - with complicated orders were finished getting their orders. Seems a cashier could have just plink plink taken care of me.
Not cheap - but ....travel location. Good bagels, plenty of CC.
