Though we enjoyed our meal at HAGS, our experience wasn’t quite as sensational as some of the other reviewers.

We found the food a bit underwhelming, especially at this price point. Don’t get me wrong, it was good throughout and sometimes great. The beef entree and the pumpernickel brand, for example, were fantastically done.

But many of the remaining dishes were quite vegetable-forward and some of the flavors didn’t seem to make sense...

This is such a wonderful place! I went to their "pay what you can brunch". (Side note: I LOVE their bathroom!!!) The colors and tones of the restaurant are lovely, creating a wonderful ambiance.
I ordered the omelette and brûléed pomelo.
My friend got the potatoes and cinnamon roll.
I tasted the potatoes and ordered a plate for myself after trying them because they are so delicious! I definitely want to come back to try their prix fix course...

I love HAGS so much. I haven't made it for dinner yet, but have been to brunch a couple of times and each time it has been transcendent. The service, the atmosphere, and the quality of the food are all top notch. I'm pretty sure the smoked salmon omelet is the best omelet I have ever had in my life. I truly hope this place is around forever and I cannot wait to experience their dinner menu.
