I have been on a few dates here, and I love the ambiance. It feels special and intimate. The food is delicious, too.
I have been to this restaurant once and I really loved their food. So I decided to reserve some spots for me and my friends to get dinner here on my birthday.at first I made a reservation for four using resi but then found another friend wanted to join. I called them to add one more person. Before I share more I want to also share that I am a person with low vision.
When I called them for adding an extra person they said I would have to sign a document to ensure that each person makes an order of Fifty or the total bill must be 250. I said ok even though this is a form of bullying I thought maybe that is standard in higher end restaurant.
I requested the woman on the call to please confirm my reservation of extra person via phone as that's more accessible and she said no the only way is to fill this form and not just that I must fill it in the next two hours. I then told her to make a note that there would be about four other people with low vision or blindness as guests. To which she said that the seating is very low and they may not be able to make it?
I am apaulled by this I have never heard a server from a well known restaurant be so blatenetly ableist. So if you can't see well don't come here and if you can't visually fill the form we can't help you? Even though I was willing to spend the money on my special day and be bullied into it. I am just hoping that they improve their staff training about how to be respectful towards people with disability and not discriminate so blatenetly.

Incredibly flavorful food. I ate here the week before last and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend trying the combination rolls as they came with some unique flavors. Would definitely visit again.

Amazing place to experience traditional Korean food. The food is incredible, and the setting is gorgeous. The dumpling soup, bulgogi rice bowl, spicy rice cakes, and dandelion green salad were favorites! The presentation is beautiful and the service is superb. Also the herbal tea was the perfect way to warm up settle in for the meal.

Warm service with good recommendations, charming atmosphere and delicious vegan food. We really loved the tofu patties, zen bibimbap and tofu in creamy sauce - those are all delightful options I would completely recommend. The spicy baby dumplings were not too exciting. Overall, definitely with a visit!

Really cool experience and really good food! Cozy, warm environment, very comfortable.
We ordered:
1) The combination rolls (noodle rolls, seaweed rolls, mushroom rolls, and kimchi rolls)
2) The spicy baby dumplings (not spicy)
3) The dandelion and avocado salad (one of my favorite things — the ginger mustard dressing was amazing)
4) The ‘bulgogi’ bibimbap
5) The spicy tofu kimchi hot pot (really good)
6) The spicy rice cakes (another one of my favorites)
7) Korean plum sparkling soda (mildly sweet)
8) The lychee sparkling soda (really sweet)
9) The red beans ice cream rhapsody (not very good)
The food was absolutely excellent — I honestly wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I loved the taste; every bite was amazing. The atmosphere was really good and made the experience even better. The service was fast for the appetizers, though the main course did take a little time, but it was worth the wait. I would highly recommend trying the Combination Roll and the Kimchi Clay Bowl — both were outstanding. Definitely a place I’d recommend! It is an amazing vegan place

The vibes are immaculate in here. It’s a cozy, relaxing environment filled with charm. The floor-tables were comfortable. I felt very comfortable the whole time, even without shoes on (as someone who gets cold feet very easily from neuropathy). The food was incredible, of course. We also very much enjoyed the green tea. Hangawi offers a serene, temple like dining experience that complements its food beautifully. The spicy perilla tofu bites were outstanding, packed with flavor from minced oyster mushrooms and tofu, while the black truffle dumplings were earthy and pleasant though not the most memorable. The spicy kimchi stone bowl bibimbap was a clear standout with bold kimchi and crunchy vegetables, and the combination kimbap with garden veggies, bulgogi, kimchi, and crispy mushroom stuffing was deeply satisfying, with the kimbap and bibimbap being my favorites overall. The date paste tea was also very good, with small chunks of dates that added natural sweetness and texture. Service was warm and attentive throughout, with thoughtful greetings and care, and the shoes off seating added to the calm, meditative atmosphere. Overall, I was genuinely a fan, it felt intentional, comforting, and well executed.

It is an oasis of peace and purity amidst the chaos of the city. The food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming experience. I loved every moment!

One word way too expensive given the vegan food. I can prepare this sort of food in one sixth of the cost and top on it food was not that great too. Waste of time and money. What a collective poor performance. They are just there to take every penny of yours. Please stop going and recommending.

Had lunch with my family today. I don’t clearly remember how appealing the food was. Instead, what stayed with me was the space and the meaning it tried to convey.
The decor, the dim yellowish lighting, and the servers’ jeogori that felt anything but casual. This feels less like a meal and more like a curated experience. Worth trying once, but not for the food alone.
