Unfortunately had to subtract stars since the last time it ordered it was a huge miss. The wings were completely different. Chicken broccoli smelled burnt and even the rice was off. My usual spot is mid but at least it's consistently mid.
I decided to order from here instead of my usual spot. I was not disappointed, is it time to switch?? The chicken wings had seasoning instead of just tasting like oil. The eggrolls were Crunchy so idk what they do cause most places don't achieve that. Crab racoons are also shaped differently than other places (triangle shaped). The filling was also a bit different, it was more of a runny filling than the usual thicker one. They were good just more chewy and not crunchy like others. Rice was on point. And the Human chicken was full of flavor with a good amount of veggies with a bit of kick

Small hole in the wall takeout place. Nothing visually to draw you in but let me tell you, the guy know how to stir up some authentic dishes. Quality meat and veggies with just enough kick

Food was delicious and a good size portion. I collected in person and the restaurant is a bit rundown, however, it still gets an A-grade for hygiene from the city. The only issue was I didn’t get exactly what I ordered, but it was still delicious.

At one point I use to like going here..but the last time I went I ordered food over the phone so it would be ready when I got there...as I was paying for my order I noticed the Chinese food employee talking on the phone in an aggressive voice to someone...while he is speaking on the phone he is talking directly over my food with spit residue falling over my food...I asked him if he could please make me a new order he apologized but refused to replace the order...he left the order sealed as if he was simply gonna wait for the next person to order chicken wings with French fries...I asked him kindly to replace the order since I witnessed him talking directly over my food...he told me no he couldn't so I left...I now realize how much it turned me off while I was in front of him...imagine if your not looking at them at this location...I no longer with buy here...I hope this helps someone

Reasonably priced American Chinese food. Note this is a cash only venue. Avoid the curry chicken it was more like curry onion and celery with a garnish of chicken!
The worst Pork Fried Rice…. It was all rice and not one piece of pork big enough to require chewing, basically the equivalent size of bacon bits you’d find on a salad and not much either.. after being desperate for PFR after the closing of Mee Noodle Shop on 53/9th, I can see, it’s not going to be so easy finding a decent alternative & they only accepted cash but have an atm right beside the register, so while it was $10 on the menu, it was really $12 with the ATM fee…. For a place called Happy Joy, there was neither.
