A nice little spot for a drink and treat if you’re in the area! They have wifi and games, good seating and outlets which is nice too and sometimes hard to find.

I’m in love with the little heart they put on the cold cups. Yes I know it is just a piece of plastic but it makes me happy. Jasmine Iced Tea was amazing as well.

Worried about adding to the good reviews because I don't want this literal, quiet haven to be overrun by the usual crowd on the beaten cafe path, but I had to review this amazing space for what it is. Music is classical, soft, and not in the foreground, so I don't have to be competing with Miley Cyrus to be heard over my work calls, staff is super friendly and attentive, and don't roll their eyes when I ask if they have skim milk, the prices are outrageously reasonable for a better quality coffee that I have paid twice as much for with half the flavor at said other places. Definitely coming back here to procrastinate further on all my work and life responsibilities as I am currently doing..

Staffs are friendly. We ordered pastries to go. There's a seating area in the back where you can enjoy your coffee with your pastries.

I spend half the year in NYC and I'm always on the lookout for a good cafe to get some work done that won't cause stabbing pains to my bank account. (Think Coffee, I'm looking at you!!!) I think I've found it!Wifi for customers? Check! Good food? Check. Tasty drinks? Check. Board games to play when I need a brain break? Check. The most tastiest of Earl Grey Portuguese Egg Tarts EVAR? Double Check! Really nice, friendly staff. Triple Check!!I love how it feels like a community here. The staff seem to know their customers and greet them like friends. Occasionally, it gets a little loud because they're greeting each other like friends do. I don't mind it at all. It's a cool vibe! If you want it super quiet all the time, this probably isn't the place for you. They keep the background music at a low level so when no one is here it's pretty quiet. The place is relatively small. There's a big community table with about 6-7 chairs. There are also four tables against the wall that seat 2. And one table that seats 4. Small place, but I always find a seat...and an outlet to plug in to. Not much happening with the decor. The place feels kind of "new-ish". They put up string lights on the brick wall by the stage to add to the "ambience".There's a tiny stage at the back with a keyboard and a couple of guitars. One acoustic and one electric. I haven't been here yet when there's been an actual performance though.I like it here.Get the Earl Grey Tart. Seriously. Get. It!

You would not expect this cute coffee shop with a karaoke bar to be behind the store front, bracketed by other shops. Inside is a warm atmosphere with a truly great espresso ?

Great little cafe. Nice pastries and calming atmosphere. Got a raspberry pastry and lemon cake per recommendations of the friendly staff. Perfect place to study or work. I'd definitely frequent here again!

While walking around Chinatown on a hot afternoon, I was in the mood for an iced coffee. I saw Haven Cafe and decided to stop inside.Haven Cafe seems to be bringing the Chinatown community together. There's a variety of brochures for employment opportunities, social gatherings, church events and such. The inside was quiet, they have a small stage and some instruments, they might have open mic here! What a fun space to have a coffee in the morning! They also have a variety of games to play. They offer a variety of coffee, bubble tea, teas, as well as breakfast sandwiches.I got a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I watched the girl make it. It came in just one size and it was huge. I'm typically not a fan of walking with my coffee, I like to sit down enjoy it and move on with my day. In this case being on New York time, always in a rush, I took it around the city with me. It was very strong, but it's what I needed. I wish it was a bit smaller.Haven Cafe is a cool spot worth checking out.

Low-key Chinatown cafe. Overall good vibes and fairly priced coffee and snacks.
