Worried about adding to the good reviews because I don't want this literal, quiet haven to be overrun by the usual crowd on the beaten cafe path, but I had to review this amazing space for what it is. Music is classical, soft, and not in the foreground, so I don't have to be competing with Miley Cyrus to be heard over my work calls, staff is super friendly and attentive, and don't roll their eyes when I ask if they have skim milk, the prices are outrageously reasonable...
I spend half the year in NYC and I'm always on the lookout for a good cafe to get some work done that won't cause stabbing pains to my bank account. (Think Coffee, I'm looking at you!!!) I think I've found it!Wifi for customers? Check! Good food? Check. Tasty drinks? Check. Board games to play when I need a brain break? Check. The most tastiest of Earl Grey Portuguese Egg Tarts EVAR? Double Check! Really nice, friendly staff. Triple Check!!I love how it feels...
Great little cafe. Nice pastries and calming atmosphere. Got a raspberry pastry and lemon cake per recommendations of the friendly staff. Perfect place to study or work. I'd definitely frequent here again!
