I love this place. Beautiful space that feels cozy without being cramped. A real hidden gem! Delicious cocktails and extensive beer options and the food is so, so good. I loved the fries, the flatbread, the beet salad, and the tempeh sandwich, and my friends raved about the burger. We went for a late lunch so it was quiet, but I've been at night too and it's definitely got a fun, bustling vibe. Will be back this fall on Knicks game days!!
Love this place! Great atmosphere and service which is super unique for this area and really tasty food (I had the Spicy Caesar Salad and shared the Jackfruit sliders and Chicken wings with the table). Amazing beer selection and I loved the spicy pineapple margarita!
Came here on a Thursday night but was past the big rush luckily. Partner had a cocktail with mezcal which she enjoyed. Nice list of them but mostly came here for the beer selection which is stellar. Food was good, definitely felt like it was a menu with an IPA drinker in mind and it's rare to find beer and food at top level together like this place. Server was really friendly and recommended the pork chop which I will have to come back for.
I've been coming to Haymaker for years, this place is the best! Amazing beer selection, great food menu, and the service is top notch. Near Penn Station, easy for commuting or going to Madison Square Garden – highly recommend!
Met up with a friend for dinner. The bar area was packed and super loud. We debated leaving but were assured the dining room was in a different area and quiet. It quickly filled and became just as loud as the bar. Our Apple Watches alerted us to 90db dangerous noise level multiple times. Food was great and service was friendly but we won't be back.
Always the go to before MSG for great beer selection and food. Service is great as well. A gem close to MSG where few others exist for a casual pre MSG dinner
Great place to eat before an event at the Garden. Staff really were on top of things to make sure you got served and out in time for the show. Burger was delicious.
Fantastic food and one of the best craft beer selections in Manhattan. Couple blocks from the Garden. It should be your go to place.
Celebrated my partner's birthday here this evening, excellent service, food and drink. Lovely atmosphere and close to MSG. Very reasonably priced as well. Thank you all!
Our Barkeep Sean (?) was an absolute joy. Super attentive & personable, really made our visit! Any place that has Hill on tap is my kinda place!

Adorable place and great ambiance. We dined before a sporting event at MSG so place was jumping in a fun way. I had reservations for 10 but they had table set for only 8. The staff did accommodate as best they could but we had to split my party up which wasn't ideal. But they tried to help. Food was good. Service was good especially since it was so busy. Overall a fun night!
Great atmosphere and they played to the event going on at MSG that night so it was fun to be around others going to the same event. Food was excellent!
Call before to check hours
I thought there was a Happy Hour, but when I got there I found out there was no such thing. I drank a glass of beer + chicken wings. It wasn’t bad or special.

This place is a quintessential great beer bar. They source beers from great places that you don't normally find in the city (Trillium, Hudson Valley, Drowned Lands, Equilibrium, Maine Beer Co. Etc). It's pricey bc it should be for the quality they are providing.
