This is the best authentic German restaurant I could ask for! The pork shank was perfectly done: tender on the inside with a deliciously crispy outside. It’s a huge portion, easily sharable between 2–3 people. The potato pancakes were out of this world. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of rich potato flavor. Highly recommend!
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Heidelberg Restaurant benefits from its easy-to-find location. I shut my eyes as the food dissolved, wanting that taste to stay. Employees here anticipate needs before asked. I plan to have a meal at this place.
I celebrated my birthday here the other night. This is a great little unsuspecting place. The inside has a great vibe and the little Biergarten out back is pretty cute. The food was fantastic. I had a roasted pork shank with sauerkraut, red cabbage, and spätzle. The crispy skin on the pork was phenomenal and it was wonderful having homemade spätzle. I would definitely recommend this place. The food is authentic and the quality is superior.
