Top notch UWS pub. Extensive menu. We stick to traditional pub type food (burgers, chicken, fries), but they also have sushi and raw bar which someone said was good. Well priced food and drinks. Decent beer selection. Cocktails excellent and they don’t skimp. Energetic vibe but not crazy loud. Pleasant and efficient service. My go to UWS informal dining spot. (And I don’t live in the neighborhood.)

Our New Year's Eve celebration at Hi-Life was wonderful, from start to finish. Betsy was our server and she was fantastic. Although my husband and I have been there many times before, I never ordered the nachos -- they are FANTASTIC! My chicken marsala was delicious and my husband loved his steak. Everybody who worked last night was so happy and celebratory, that it truly felt joyful. And the brownie sundae was phenomenal. We had a great time!

Most positive experience. Both the food and service was terrific. Regarding the food, the variety and quality is top notch. And, at a solid value. Regarding the service, outstanding from start to finish. This was particularly impressive given how busy it was. Without any hesitation, I would highly recommend the Hi Life for any occasion.
