Lovely little breakfast/lunch tea room. We were disappointed we were not offered a second pot of tea, which has been our experience at other tea rooms. I would return.
This is a very small place so you don’t need plenty of staff but you definitely need more than one person to serve everyone. The server was hustling and doing the best she could but you need two people to provide a more pleasant customer experience.
The tea experience was different from the others I’ve experienced but it was delicious. I drink tea everyday and I’ve been to 50+ afternoon teas. The jasmine tea was high quality and so was the food and pastries. I definitely recommend this tea room.
It is a beautiful and cute little space. I enjoyed the desserts that was served. The sandwiches were on croissants instead of finger sandwiches, whcih was a twist. I ordered the Chai Imperial and found it to be a somewhat okay only, which surprised me. But the service was great.
The ambience was beautiful, the staff were very attentive and very friendly. The tea snacks were honestly not worth the money we payed. The croissant was grocery quality and the pastries aswell. Nothing you can't get at a grocery. I was very disappointed on the food quality. The salad was just greens with dressing. You pay for the beautiful designed ambience but the food is worth 1 star only. I'd call it a trap for people that never travelled to Europe and believe this is supposed to be high tea. Safe your money and go to Magnolia Bakery.
Waitress was extremely rude and strangely uncommunicative with request for gluten free items (of which were many on their menu). Said I should have told her I was gf when making a reservation, but I was with a party and did not make the reservation myself. Despite food accommodation, the experience was so shaming as person who is not gluten free for fun that I felt the need to warn my community. strangely rigid and judgmental server.
The place is beautiful but the tea is incredibly overpriced for what you get. The server seemed extremely put upon as if management treats her unkindly. I vacillated between being annoyed and feeling sorry for her. Overall, would not recommend it. You could do better for $66 + 20% gratuity for mediocre service. Plus they also added an additional place for gratuity after they ran my credit card. Vibe is def off.
The decor, ambiance and service was great. The food was very tasty and pretty, but I found the portions small. I've been to High Teas, where I left stuffed. This was not the case here.
We drove an hour to get to this café. On Google Maps, it says they close at 5:30, but we arrived exactly at 3:55 PM, and the woman inside said, "Sorry, we're closed." She didn’t look sorry at all. I mentioned that there was no such information on the map, and she simply said, "Unfortunately." Truly disappointing….
Pleasant and helpful staff, but it really is a tea room, not much use for brunch or lunch. A pity, as the room itself and location are strong selling points.
Perfect spot to catch afternoon tea- tea, salad, croissant sandwich and absolutely delicious desserts! As a tea lover I appreciated the large selection of tea choices and their exclusive blend was a lovely green tea. Got a hot chocolate to go- yum! If you are looking for a unique place to visit this is it. Thank you Vanessa for taking good care of us.

Preposterous!!! $169.50 for egg and chicken salad on a croissant (no lettuce..just slapped onto the croissant), 2 pots of weak tea, and a few super miniature sized desserts (includes NY fee and a 20% gratuity automatically added on to the bill). Ridiculous!
Today, my wife and I stopped in for high tea after a theatre performance. We did not have a reservation. The interior of the place is beautiful and the server was polite, but the pro's end here. Barring the fact that proper high tea does not include sandwiches served on a croissant....the egg and chicken salad were just placed onto the croissant with nothing else. The quality was average. The Earl Grey tea was very weak with no observable aroma of bergamot oil and the English Breakfast tea was of mediocre quality. The tea was in a bag and not loose so it was impossible to properly observe the quality of the tea. The pastries and desserts were few, super miniature sized ( the smallest we've ever seen served with high tea), and the macaron and tiny tiramisu square were stale so we left two uneaten.
There are other far better options in NYC for proper high tea that delivers far greater quality for the equivalent price or less. If you scroll through the reviews, you will see that there are other patrons who had a similar experience and voiced the same complaint. Obviously the owner has chosen to ignore the feedback and continues to provide an incredibly over-priced product...disappointing to say the least.
This afternoon tea was the most disappointing “upscale dining” experience in many years. Our party of 6 was crammed into 2 combined tables that would comfortably seat 4. The midday sun was so strong that 2 of us were literally sweating. Our server would not remedy the cramped seating or draw the curtain to keep out the sun. Food was mediocre at best and skimpy, especially for our guest with the gluten allergy. I called in advance to make sure they could accommodate gluten free and was told he’d get a gluten free waffle. Nope. To add insult to injury, a mandatory 20% gratuity was added to our bill. Save your money. NYC offers better places at this price point.
The Parisian Tea house was an on place to go on Christmas when everything else was closed. We definitely won’t go out of our way again to go back. The price at 90$ per person was way too high for the level of service we were given. We were limited to 1 tea each from the menu and were charged extra for a coffee. The food was decent. The atmosphere was tight with one server on duty.
2 friends and I recently went to the Parisian Tea Room for the Haute Couture High Tea. The restaurant is small, but very clean and cute. The staff were attentive and nice, but don't come here if you're hungry. Luckily, I'm on a diet right now, so I was fine with everything, but if you don't like a particular part of the tea you will leave unsatisfied. The only thing we could choose was the type of croissant sandwich and the actual tea, which came in a little stainless steel pot. It was very hot to the touch. I would've preferred the usual ceramic teapots that most tea houses give you. You cannot choose the soup and, unfortunately, one of my friends did not care for the soup we were served. The salad was basic, lettuce and tomato with a little dressing. The cheese plate had a mini croissant, one piece of prosciutto, a little dollop of jam in the middle and 3 little cheeses, brie and 2 pieces of gruyere. The serving stand that came after the salad, cheese plate and soup had 2 tiers. The croissant sandwiches were on the first tier and the second tier had macarons, nutella puffs, and tiny creme brulees, 3 of each. The tiny creme brulee was very good. I only had half of my croissant sandwich, not because it was too big, but because it was just okay and because I'm on a diet I don't like to eat anything that I don't really like. Luckily, they weren't very busy on the day we went so we were able to stay as long as we wanted and the atmosphere was very cozy and conducive to our catching up with each other. I used the restroom before we left and it was very clean and comfortable.
Overall, this is an okay place for afternoon tea, but not worth the $111 each that we paid (gratuity was included in the bill even though there were only 3 of us). If you want more than the above maybe don't do one of the tea services, just order a la carte.
Small nicely lit and beautifully decorated / appointed casual tea place with accommodating staff. The $63 tea becomes $85 after sales tax, the 4% charge (credit card fee?) and 20% automatically added gratuity. This is for a small croissant with filling (chicken or egg salad or hummus - no ham/cheese available on our visit???), a small pot of infused tea, or a cup of hot cocoa or a cup of coffee and a nutella filled cream puff, one macaron, a mini tiramisu square and a micro ramekin of Crème brûlée for each patron. Portions are small for sure but all was fresh and our party of four was not rushed in the quiet environment that enabled us to talk. There were 8-10 empty seats for the entire almost 2 hours we weee there and we watched people turned away who did not have reservations so book in advance.
