The bartender is super friendly here. And there are free refills on soda. The bar is spacious and beautiful. And it is much bigger inside than it looks on the outside. I attended a meetup here and we had a section reserved in the back. Comfortable seating. Awesome atmosphere. I keep Kosher so I didn't eat any of the food. But the fried macaroni and cheese balls that my friends were eating smelled and looked delicious. And always tip your bartender!

Had a $120 bill, my friend and 2 other people wanted to split the bill. My friend had a $100 he wanted to break, and the waitress told us the bar tender wouldn't break it because using a $100 is "sketchy." Mind you my friend is a black male. The $100 bill was real, and we told her to take the appropriate precautions to confirm it was real and break it for us so we could split the bill. She told us no. Never again. Rude, racist. Huge waste of money. Also try training your staff not to be prejudiced esp. when customers are spending over $100 on happy hour drinks. Yikes!

Found them to be unprofessional and disrespectful when I visited a few months ago. They charged me for 2 cocktails and then proceeded to kick me out of the establishment 5 minutes later when I wasn't able to gulp them down immediately.

I'm gonna miss this place. They're closing at the end of this month. No exaggeration, they had the coolest staff of bartenders from top to bottom. They all knew how to make a good cocktail. Like Olive Garden, minus the diabetes, if you were a regular- you were treated like fam. These kids were dope and that's a super rare find. You know what else was cool: the space. Those mirrors above the bar are an underrated element. The back room was cozy and comfy on fall/winter days. The beautiful naked women photos in the restrooms were a bonus. #forMe Even though it was a bar first and restaurant second, even the food was decent. Sure it could be a s*** show on busy nights, but what bar isn't. Sure the basics were too many to count, but you can't faluuk them... right ? Rumor has it this is gonna be a fried chicken joint. Korean fried chicken. New restaurants opening in NYC is like movies coming out of Hollywood: is there anything new or are we getting another tired reboot? SMH. I've never made an obit review, but I guess this one is. Farewell my friend, you served me well and you left too soon.

This place is olllldddd,, been around forever and not in a nostalgic kind of way. The crowd is stuck somewhere between Chinatown demographic and gentrifiers. In the city, it is spacious which is shocking any day of the year! Happy hour drinks are weak and trashy. Ambiance is consistent of memorable old school regalia. Love love love! Service is sporadic. The bar area is small and, therefore, very congested. You have to yell over people who are parked at the bar, and get offended when you try to order something. F' off. We all came for drinks, and I was not impressed, at all.

Service was on point, accommodating our group on short notice (morning of for brunch) and bringing over an extra chair to serve us. Bottomless brunch deal was definitely worth it, our server kept the drinks coming like clockwork. The atmosphere was great. Last but not least, the food was delicious. I got the smoked salmon crepes and was blown away. Everyone in my party loves their meals as well. I rarely give a 5-star review but I absolutely loved Hill & Dale and will be recommending/coming back in the near future for sure.

Celebrated my birthday here on a Friday, you must reserve to get a table. The appetizers were wonderful the hostess was great and at about 9 the DJ started playing and he was amazing.

Cute little place in the LES! Trendy but mature and not too loud for Sunday brunch. Visited with a group of 5 and we received great service from the on-going slew of drinks to the food. Ordered the salmon crepe, which were interestingly delicious. Doesn't appear this place has a wait for brunch.

Love this place. I had my 30th birthday here and everyone loved it! It was so easy to reserve a spot, I emailed and got a response from Aaron right away, he was very accommodating and reserved the front section for us. The food, drinks and service were all great! I already been back a couple of times and will continue to go there regularly.

Day/Time: Saturday, around 11:30am Wait Time: No wait time Seating: All table seats (booths and high top tables) Service: Great Drinks: We ordered bottomless mimosas Food: We ordered the burger with a side of fries and biscuits with gravy with a side of hash browns Came here for bottomless brunch. Mimosas were great, food was great, service was great. No complaints. Loved the experience. The waitress also gave me and my boyfriend birthday shots on the house, which was really sweet. The only thing to keep in mind is the price point. This spot is on the steeper side for a bottomless brunch.
