Excellent food and service. Ives was our server and she was perfectly attentive. She made suggestions and thoughtfully pointed out specific ingredients. We will definitely come back in town to try the rest of the menu!

Hojokban is great. Had a 1pm reservation, came a little early and that had no issue seating us. Staff was friendly and accommodating. All the food I ordered was great.
Ramen Fried Rice - delicious probably favorite item on its own
Soy Glazed Bossam - pairs great with the perilla oil noodle
Perilla Oil Noodles
Truffle Potato Pancake - Worth trying, I probably wouldn't order again though.

the galbi was delicious, and we ended up randomly picking the cabbage cilantro kimchi salad and it was the star of the show, highly recommended

HOJOKBAN NYC is a fresh take on Korean fast-casual that’s all about bold flavors and speedy service without cutting corners. The vibe is casual and inviting, perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner that still feels special. Their bowls are packed with vibrant, well-seasoned ingredients — think tender meats, fresh veggies, and just the right kick of spice. The kimchi and sides add that authentic punch, making every bite satisfying and crave-worthy. If you want tasty, no-fuss Korean food that’s fast but never basic, HOJOKBAN is the spot to hit up.

Very good Korean food. Kimchi banchan (complimentary) and beef tartare were absolutely standouts, MUST TRY. Perilla oil noodle and hojok galbi are also good. Skip tiger budae jigae, the salami in the noodles was just kinda weird. Highballs and mocktails were also very good!!

Everything we had at Hojokban was 10/10: the octopus tteokbokki, the ramyun fried rice, and the signature Galbi. I can’t wait to go back and try other things 🤤🤤

I went there because of the good reviews, but I ended up being discriminated against. The male staff bumped into me without even apologizing, and our server never came to check on us while we were eating. On top of that, the food I ordered late came out at the same time as the earlier order. I feel stupid for even leaving a tip.
