We went to Shinpi Omakase last weekend and had a great time. The chef at was super interactive which made the experience really fun. We got the 15 course omakase for $139. The meal included super cool cuts, the most memorable being Snake Belly Tuna. Our favorite bite was the King Salmon, so fresh and melted in our mouths
I like omakase because of the quality of the fish. Here, they're aiming for an artsy dining experience. Which, the food was. However, the ambiance was that of an elevator. Elevator music, quiet. I'd prefer to have a fun night out. Here, it's sit there quietly and watch me make this food.
