This place is actually so incredibly mediocre, maybe worse. I went with a friend for the martini Happy Hour on Tuesday. First, server didn’t mention it was happy hour. Second, we sat outside on the “patio” which absolutely wreaked of fish as soon as we stepped out there. We were later accosted by bugs around 8pm. We shared the salad and fries. It was cafeteria food at best. The shrimp on the salad was an extra $16 dollars for 3 shrimp that had not even a pinch of salt/pepper. No seasoning whatsoever. Dressing was really sweet. Overall miss. Fries were fried so that’s good. I will literally never go back to eat. Food and scene is trendy and overhyped. Martini was fine but could have gotten it anywhere else with better food.

Cool spot, good music, but on a Saturday night it was missing something - people!

Came here on a Tuesday with my wife to check out their $10 martini deal, and I was impressed. The martinis were on point, with a selection of three: lychee, dirty, and dry. We had a couple of rounds of the lychee and dirty martinis, and they were amazing. The service was great, the music was fantastic, the crowd was grown and sexy, and best of all, there was no catch with the $10 martinis. I will check this place out regularly.

I loved this restaurant! The crispy rice and peanut chicken salad were both delicious! Salad portion was large and great for sharing. It’s also on a beautiful street in the West Village. If it’s warm, sit outside!
Drinks are pretty bad. For food, stick with appetizers bc the entrees are not good.

Martini special was a great deal, the lychee was tasty but the gin for a regular dirty martini was just ok. We mostly came just for drinks but ended up ordering a calamari which was a very small portion for the price. Overall the service at the bar was very attentive, and we had a good time.

To the Management,I want to express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent visit to Holiday Bar. Despite having a reservation for an indoor table at 9 PM, my three friends and I were left waiting at the bar for over an hour!! due to a “delay” in seating. The manager/host Heather ignored us completely! She told us over and over again that we had to wait because the previous party was still seated. Can’t believe we waited like idiots for an hour. Despite her assuring us we would be taken care of we never were take care of… we ordered one appetizer and three entrees between the 4 of us and we were charged for everything!!Our anticipation turned to frustration and disappointment as we were left unattended and the promised quality service was absent. This experience has made it clear that Holiday Bar’s customer service needs urgent improvement.

Justice for holiday bar! After reading the terrible reviews i did not have high expectations but had a lovely experience for dinner. The service was 10/10, not sure if it was better because it was fairly empty or because they read the reviews. The menu changed so a lot of the popular items weren’t available but the jerk chicken, crab cakes and lobster pasta were all really great. Super cute atmosphere & great cocktails

Yikes. All of these 1-star reviews with zero response or care from the owners. If I would've saw these reviews I would've never came.Went with a few friends and was very disappointed by the overpriced food. The ricotta app is laughable. They smeared a tiny bit on the plate and gave scraps of bread. The service is terrible too.

There was zero vibe. The music wasn’t upbeat for a weekend evening. The crowd was a mainly tourists, which is fine, but not the crowd of Saint Theo. My friend made a reservation for 8PM and at 8:50PM they just sat a 7:30PM reso because they were “running behind”. Of course, this happens to every restaurant occasionally, but the hostesses had zero training on service. Instead of being gregarious with the hungry guests to comfort them while they waited, they were indifferent and aloof. I overheard the manager (or GM?) make derogatory comments behind a guest’s back after they complained about the lateness. I’m shocked that this is the same group as American Bar and Saint Theo, because Saint Theo has never let me down.

Native NYer who eats at all the trendy spots. This was the worst of the worst. I couldn’t chew the $55 steak. The ricotta app was literally toasted bread with a tablespoon of ricotta. I asked the waitress to explain and she laughed at me.This was the worst food, service and experience of my life. Plenty of other amazing spots in the village as well.

Truly confused by this place. The food was terrible and overpriced. The steak was dry, the portions are extremely small to the point where we thought we were served literal scraps on accident.Wasn't too thrilled with the service either. Don't waste your time or money here.
