I had been to this space in previous concept iterations and decided to check it out before a show around the corner at Blue Note one night.
Needless to say I was taken away by the full meal from the setting, to the service, to the meal and feel like we have had 4 or 5 courses looking back at it. Really yummy delicious Chinese food. Service was absolutely amazing- we had the sweetest waitress. Went with friends to get some cocktails and bites. Enjoyed noodles, dumplings, and general toss. All were delicious and good size portions. Really loved the chicken but all was good. Really recommend
This spot is really cute and a great place for friends to catch up since the atmosphere is a bit quiet. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. We split the banana French toast which was a great idea. The curry chicken buns were okay, my friend got the chicken sando which was my favorite dish we had.

Cha Cha Tang offers an upscale ambiance and genuine service. Servers, such as Cathy, are attentive and cheerful without being suffocating. The food features a mix of amazing and unremarkable dishes, with favorites including scallion pancakes, Pearl noodles, XO fried rice, Cantonese Duck, Cantonese Roast Duck Slider, Chicken Curry, and Beef Noodle Soup. The space is great for a restaurant in the city, especially in the Village. The fried rice is packed with seafood, and the filet mignon and duck are cooked perfectly. The Portuguese fried chicken is surprisingly spicy, and the dumplings are delicious. Desserts are beautifully presented, completing a memorable dining experience. Overall, it’s considered one of the best restaurants in New York City of 2025, praised for food, service, ambiance, and heart.
