I have ordered from my fair share of Chinese over the years from everywhere in NYC. However, I keep coming back to Uncle Ted's time and time again, and it is simple. It is because Uncle Ted's is worth every penny because of the consistent quality AND taste. Had the lunch special for 15 dollars, which for the portion size was a solid deal in Manhattan. Never had egg drop soup before and was thus a little apprehensive, but I really enjoyed it! Good place for a quick sit down bite.
